  1. Has anyone had a lap band replaced due to numerous prolapse and experienced prolapses again with the second band?
  2. I feel incredibly better had revision with bigger band in may had first fill two weeks ago not a lot of weight loss yet I'm going to take it slow this time cause don't want to experience too tight and throwing up taking Prilosec daily etc...so far so good!
  3. Also lisa what's difference with 4cc vs 10 cc band? Is this something that I need to discuss with my dr as options before my replacement surgery?
  4. Hello lellow I am scheduled for band replacement may 16 and have decided against the sleeve for some of your same reasons: Band had worked for two years with no problems and achieved my ideal weight. I have prolapsed and must get a revision and my only concern is that if the new band will prolapse again
  5. Have not had the revision yet still have first band but it has prolapsed three times and I have to have it replaced but questioning if anyone has had a second put in and experienced prolapse with the second one
  6. Thanks you this was my first time using forum and posting from phone so was unsure if my question was posting properly but will only post once in the future
  7. "]I've had ban for nearly three years and lost 100 pounds and hit my target weight I've had no problems with my band up until 6 months ago where I prolapsed and have had to be emptied three times since then. This is my third prolapse in 6 months and it does not seem to be fixing itself so must get it removed. I have three questions. 1 has anyone had repeated prolapse and if it does fix itself can I just keep the band and not have it filled and attempt to maintain my weight lost? 2. I'm only 3o pounds over ideal weight is it worth getting another band because I would not consider getting sleeve or any other stomach cutting procedure 3 what problems should I consider after getting band removed short and long term?
