  4. thats what i did and it was wonderful!! i used vegtable and beef w barley and i strained them and it worked just fine!!
  5. I too was very very hungry i only made it to day 8 as then i had to have food!! I went directly to mushy foods such as scrambled egg and nonfat refried beans mashed potatoes cream of wheat etc... i stayed on mushy until i was 3weeks out then went to soft foods(food you can chew to make mushy) until i was 8weeks out and was able to start regular food! I was very HUNGRY!!!! this worked for me and so far i have been very successful!! Best of luck!!
  6. AT FIRST I WAS ON A liquid POST OP DIET SO I HAD A CUP OF broth 3X A DAY

  8. NO YOU ARE NORMAL!! The same thing happened to me and it went on for like 3-4weeks!! My nut told me that after dropping 32lbs so fast my body was holding on to see what was happening! I stopped looking and low and behold it started moving down very fast again!! Sometimes I have to Increase my calories for my body to give up weight! Hang in there you will see!! Do you still feel the restriction?
  9.    Laceyvsg reacted to a post in a topic: Wendy 's Chili?
  10. YOU WERE PROBABLY MORE ACTIVE AS WELL !!
  11. I too had to go to puree early at day 10!! My nut said it was ok but when I wanted to go to soft early she said no because we don't want to worry about stretching our pouch too soon. With pureed foods I made it a month out for soft!! It was hard but worth it. 2years from now I don't want to wonder if I messed up and that's why the weight loss is slowing down!
  12. I too had to EAT!! I went into my fridge and snagged cream cheese and then felt soooo bad.... I was fine and continue to lose so i guess we are not alone!! Its HARD!!!
  13. I AM 3MOS POST OP AND I STAY AT OR UNDER 1000 CALORIES A DAY AND MOST TIMES ONLY HIT 800-900!! I KEEP MY FAT GRAMS TO 33 AND MY CARBS TO 100 AS PER FITNESS PAL

  17. it does feel good to Feel Normal and still see weight loss!! Wish I did this 10 years ago!!
  18. I too Love FOOD!! But since my surgery for the first time in my life i feel full like a normal person!! Before i could never understand how a person could be happy and full eating a sandwich!! I would have to eat 2!! now i can eat 1 like everyone else and i am fully satisfied!! Its a great feeling!! Same with Lean cusine or Smart ones i would eat 1 and then go eat something else because i was still hungry! Now i can barely finish 1 meal!! For me the surgery has made all of the difference!!
  19. yologirl I am almost 3mos out and yes i snack occasionally! i even had a hostess cupcake for 210 calories and still stayed under 1000 calories that my nut set for me!! As long as I can "afford" the calories I allow myself AS THIS WILL BE FOR LIFE!! I am very happy so far with my results!!
  20. I was told to keep my calories at 1000 or less and 33 gr of fat a day!!
  21. I was told the number 1 cause of failure is drinking calories....... eat a piece of fruit it will hold you longer and provide the benefits of juice!
