  1. I just had my band repositioned 2/22. Seems to be going well so far. I had the mother of all slips. Also had band emptied 3 times in last year and a half. I also said there will be no other surgery for me. Dr understood and said they would try to save the band but sometimes they can't due to damage, erosion, or the band simply breaks when they try to move the stomach back down through. All went well. Band is still in place. Other than 6 new holes in my abdomen and a liquid diet, I feel fantastic. I'm looking forward to the second leg of the journey.

    Feeling Duped

A very wise person once told me - I didn't say it was going to be easy. I said it was going to be worth it.

    Advise After Revision!!

my band was repositioned on Friday. Discharge instructions say 72 hours liquids then resume normal diet. When band was unfilled week and a half before surgery for slippage, doctor told me to eat a regular diet. I have to admit, I am not hungry at all and thus am having trouble getting 3 protein shakes in.Not sure I will be ready for a regular diet on Monday. I think I will take it slower and listen to my body.

    Question about Vomitting

I had my band repositioned yesterday. I don't have any advice on the vomitting but perhaps we can keep track of each other to see how we are doing.
