  1. I've been taking Zantac 150 daily for past 3 days and it is much better. Called my surgeon office yesterday but they never called me back. If I was stuck how could I eat And drink now without and problems? Also wasn't having problems then either. Just the pain.
  2. I did go ahead and take a Zantac and 3 tums earlier and it does seem better. Ate about 5 small pieces of steak and a 1/4 baked potatoes with salad at supper and had minimal pain. No pb. Went down well.
  3. But I am having no pb episodes. I have on other hand been under tremendous stress this week. Earlier in week I had several episodes of pb. I'm wondering now if its not just a pulled chest wall muscle. My neck muscles in front Also hurt. It's weird. Like I said I'm a nurse and it has me stumped.
  4. Also burping or hiccup produces same pain.
  5. Ok I have to Ask if anyone has experienced this. I have been banded almost 5 years and have never had this happen. Yesterday I ate a few, maybe 1/8 cup of shelled sunflower seeds. Since then I have had mid sternum dull chest pain that only hurts when I drink or eat. It is very strong then. Goes away within a minute. I am not too tight and can still get liquids and soft foods down easy. Scared to try more solid foods. I am a nurse and I know this isn't a heart attack so please don't advise me to go to ER. Just wondering if anyone has had this. I'm going to call doc Monday if it is still going on. I have had left shoulder pain if I eat too much but this is totally different. Doesn't feel like acid reflux either. Doesn't burn like reflux. More like some has punched me in chest when I swallow.
  6. Oh yea and taco bells beans are great too.
  7. I am on the road constantly so I can understand the need for ff occasionally. Like others I love Wendy's chili. Chicken nuggets are pretty good too. Most else I try to avoid. Alcohol I avoided while in losing stage. If you do make sure you count and remember Alcohol not only is Empty cals it also makes you care less what you eat. Personal experience.
  8. Will be 5 years in August. No complications! Love my band! Also follow what my doc has told me. Yes nobody is perfect no matter what they may want you to think and yea I have strayed on certain days. For the most part I've stayed on course though with what they have told me.
  9. I do however like being on the tight side like b-52. It helps with what I can and "shouldn't eat".
  10. I never experienced banister hell. Everyone is different. I never have regretted my decision from day one. It will not take away impulsive emotional eating.
  11. Also make sure your not eating or drinking within 2 hours of laying down
  12. I think it's hilarious that they think we would rather have plump fat unhealthy bodies than skinny healthy bodies with some extra skin. Who cares what they think! It's our bodies!!! Unless they are you or married to you and have to look at you it's none of their business. Plus there is always plastic surgery which I had too!!! Lol
  13. I think I'm in love!!! Lol gotta try these!
  14. You can hear it when it's emptying from small pouch to stomach. It's worse when drinking liquids. Still happens though. Almost 5 years post op.
  15. Yes your excess is the top of normal bmi to the weight your are now. I'm mid bmi normal now. I was on the low end. So if you get to a normal bmi you've Lost 100% of "excess weight". Remember key word is "excess".
  16. Thanks. I had a complete de fill before my TT last year even though my surgeon said I didn't need to I felt like I did because I was scared I wouldn't be able to eat or take pain meds after surgery because I cannot eat or drink or take meds then lay down for at least 2 hours after. I knew with the TT I would be laying flat alot.
  17. Glad to hear your doing well. Don't be surprised if at the two week mark your new tummy swells. It's normal and will go down. Yours may swell a little more without the drains. :/ kinda worry about that.
  18. I lost +100% of mine. I have regained a few extra lbs after I had surgery last year and had all my fluid removed like a big dummy. Have almost all of the regained weight back off now though. It can be done. They tell everyone that because that's the average.
  19. 195$ for me
  20. My hubby was still raving about these today. He said Emily bites was awesome. Lol
  21. I trust my doc and he's great and as an Rn and a paramedic I know all about the dangers of what could happen but I appreciate all the concern!
