I have been overweight pretty much all of my life. I was recently diagnosed as an insulin diabetic. Now not only do I take 10 pills in the am and 6 pills in the pm, I have to stick myself a few times a day. Due to my weight I also have severe chronic lower back pain, making simple things extremely difficult.
I decided to do some research on lapband surgery. Once I did all the research I made my mind up to begin my journey. It's been 7 months since I started and I'm scheduled for surgery 1/17/13. I don't expect to be "skinny" I just expect to be healthy. I'm taking back my life and I'm not backing down!
