  1. Great change! You look good girl!
  2. This site has chair yoga. http://www.doyogawithme.com/
  3. I'm tentatively scheduled for Feb 19th. Still waiting for insurance approval. It makes me a little anxious that I haven't received approval yet. But, I was told that the person that submits authorizations at my surgeon's office almost always get them approved. Wish me luck!
  4. Is it possible that you are lactose intolerant? There are protein powders that are made from whey isolate, like Unjury that are for people that are lactose intolerant. I've tried Unjury with soy milk and haven't had any problems. In fact, I actually like the taste and it feels good on my stomach.
  5. I get banded on Feb. 19th. There is a February 2013 Bandsters group that is very supportive. Feel free to join us.
  6. I'm not banded yet. However, I think I read that a tube is placed down your throat during the procedure. That may be the cause of your soreness. Give it a couple of days. I've had several endoscopies. However after the one I had a month or so ago, it took almost a week for my throat to stop feeling sore.
  7. I eliminated sugar and carbs three days before I started my pre-op. I think that helped tremendously. I'm only one day into the pre-op, but no hunger so far.
  8. I just finished Day 1 of my pre-op. It wasn't bad. I hope I can say that on day 10.
  9. I start my pre-op diet later today. Still waiting for surgery to be approved. My surgery date is 2/19. I'm getting anxious about the approval process. However, I was told that the lady that does it almost always gets them approved.
  10. My physician suggested only using whey protein isolate products if lactose intolerant. I tried Unjury and haven't had any problems.
  11. Yay! Your first step on a very rewarding journey!
  12. I'm another lover of Dance Central! I love to dance and I get caught up in trying to beat my previous score. Time flies with it.
  13. Whitney, you'll find a lot of support on this forum. I haven't been banded yet myself. My date is 2/19. Do you know when you will be banded? There is a February 2013 Bandsters group. There are other groups that you might fit in as well. I've learned a lot by interacting with people on the forum that know a lot more about the procedure than I do. Feel free to PM if you'd like.
  14. Amy you seem like a sensitive, kind soul. More importantly, you seem like a very strong young woman. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't understand what it's like to be overweight, or depressed. When you can, expand your support system. There are people out there that will be sensitive to your needs. In the meantime, take good care of yourself.
  15. Good luck! Let us know how things turn out when you can...
