    Wow! I only have 5 days until surgery!! Well I don't know if you can count that 5th day because I have to be up and getting ready at 4:30am. I have been reading everyone's posts and it seems like sleep will probably not happen that night! Everything is going so fast' date=' yet so slow! At least I've finished my mani-pedi, getting hair cut today, grocery shopping done so hubby has food to eat! Now just need to clean house and then start getting nervous and excited! So scared about surgery, but I know it's the best decision I've made in a long time. Thank you to all that are post op for the feedback. its great to read about honest feedback. I hope everyone's surgeries go well & wishing us all an uneventful & speedy recovery!

    P.S. thank you Kathy for starting this thread. I remember seeing it when it was only on page one and now look how far we've come! I really appreciate the time you spend updating all of us!!

    I was thinking today that I can't even imagine what it would be one doing this without my online support group and just wanted to let you guys know that you all help so much in keeping me motivated!! Kraney, we worked in the yard today and spent some time with my nieces and nephew. I did my pedi last night and a deep clean on the house today as well. I've only got eight days to go!! I'm right there with ya girl!! I can hardly believe its actually going to happen!! Love you guys!!

    I got my surgery time today 12 pm! I have to be at the hospital at 930 on surgery day! It won't be long now. I found out I have to do Lovenox injections For a whole month!! That stuff ain't cheap but I know God will provide just like He always does!! I'm still so excited.

    So my boss just called and said that she will not approve for me to have the week of the 25th off. I need to wait until the following week, to schedule my surgery. What a bummer! I really thought that it would happen in March. Oh we'll, I guess one more week doesn't really matter but she makes me mad! I want it done as soon as I can not when she says its ok. I guess if I want my job I will do as she says though. Ugh. So now I need to join the April dates. Sorry.

    It's okay!! Wish you the best of luck, and who says you can't stop in and chat with us sometime!!

    Weeelllll, you seasoned vets!!! You post op peeps... have you any suggestions for those of us who are still waiting on our days? Things we should bring to the hospital, any suggestions at all?!! LOL!! I'm so excited for you all! My surgery was approved today so I can hardly contain myself! I think I'll use my excitement to fuel a good workout.

    And about those suggestions....:)

    Hi all, march 5th surgery day and have to say I'm miserable. I have so much pain I don't know what to do. I'm getting better at getting up and walking around but an hour before its time for my meds I'm in tears. I never thought of myself as a wuss but then again have never had surgery. They changed my meds from Diluted--im probably spelling that wrong to codine and its not working and where as good. Ugh!

    Definitely praying for you to feel better soon chica:)

    I am waiting to get my date 3/19. It'll be scheduled for sometime between the 25th- to the 29th. So I can be added too!

    My pre op appointment is Friday, and my EGD is a week from tomorrow... time seems to be going so SLOOOOOOOOOW.... I feel like a kid at Christmas Eve and it's happening over and over again. I'm trying to keep my schedule busy to pass the time more quickly. I need a distraction, lol!! I'm so glad to see every one is doing well post op and just want everyone to know that I will be praying for you on your surgery day. I can hardly wait until my day arrives.
