Not weird! Like pbear said, some docs just have certain requirements, and others base it on your history... it think my surgeon just wants to be safe. -

Surgery isn't until mid March :\ I have been like this for about three years. This is week four the last time I bled for eight months and now I'm anemic. I've had DNCs and blood transfusions all thanks to my PCOS!!

Switched Procedure From Band To RNY Today

Since August I've been researching the band, and today at my initial appointment with my surgeon he told me he thinks I'm a better candidate for bypass. I need to learn!!! Anyone have advice on resources to learn all about this procedure, and before and afters.. thanks! -

Initial Meeting With Surgeon- His Therapist NOT in Network

I just found out that my surgeon's Clinical Therapist is out of network, and I have to meet my 1K deductible. !!! Ahhh!! I hope to hope hope he'll let me see an in network therapist? I don't want to fork out another grand on top of the other OOP costs I'll incur.. I may have to change surgeons to one with an in network therapist...I really had my heart set on Dr. Mitchell... any suggestions? -
