Change of Life OT
It was my Band Doc and he did mention that I should see My PCP or GYN Dr and let her know what was going on. so I will be making an appt as soon as they are back from lunch. Wow if that was a Hot Flash put me out to pasture now and shoot me. That was awful the rest of the day I was so paranoid it was going to happen again. Even told my oldest if Mommy falls down and goes to sleep please call 911 and don't let your little brother outside. I even now turn the thermosate down before I go into the bathroom how odd is that? Well I will be sure to ask for blood test to see what is going on we have a history of Thyroid problems in my family. I have been taking B-12 Plus Folic Acid started it right before I was banded but will check into the other Vitamins as well. Thank you. Thank You

Change of Life OT
Here is a little history of what is going on. Mother Nature seems to be visiting more often than usual lately. Seems every 20 to 25 days or so. In Jan I got somekind of attack weather it was Panic or hot flash do not know. I was in the the Bathroom and the heater came on while I was sitting there on the throne I felt warm then warmer then just dang hot, the floor seemed to get nearer and I thought I was going to pass out. Did I mention that my heart started to race and could not catch my breath. I ran to the front door stood outside in the freezing snow and waited till I could breath and the hotness went away. Now all the while my kids bless their heart are standing there with me. I felt horrible (I am 41 going to be 42 this year I think) I mentioned it to the Dr and he thought that maybe (not to insult me) that is was a start to the change. So here are my questions 1. What age do you normally change at? 2. What should I expect?

Lisa
Hi Lisa, All your feelings are normal. I actually had a full blown panic attack in pre op. Never had one in my whole life one nurse had me breathing in a paper bag while the other was holding my hand and yet another was wiping my forehead with a cold towel. My advise have someone in preop with you to make the time pass by fast. I can laugh about it now but every surgery your going to second guess yourself. Can you imagine a patient running down the hall hooked up to the IV and holding a suitcase in one hand and trying to cover your back side with the other..

Favorite Grandparent Memories
This is my favorite and I have only told this to one other person my husband. This happend after she actually passed away though we had very special times together when she was alive. It must have been less than a week after the funeral I was in a sound sleep when I was awaken by a noise in my living room when I sat up I could see to the couch and I called out who's there? No answer but I knew someone was there, again I called out but this time My Mom (Grandmother) says it's only me I'm going to sleep on your couch. So I said Ok never giving it another thought. Well you all know what happend in the morning she was gone. I sat there for quite awile because I really saw her and I could smell her perfume it was so real. Anyway I figured it had to be a dream so I put it in the back of my mind. Well here came another night and the same thing except she was going to sleep by my side, she held my hand all night I could feel every bone in her hand but then right before dawn she said she had to go. When I think of her I always recall those nights they meant the most:(

what would you do??? OT
I do agree it is a tacky way of asking for money. I Ripped up the flyer as well as the deposit slip and in the Trash they went. I cannot even consider helping someone especially if they are guilty of a crime such as the above. Thank you all
