  1. So frustrated! I am having the hardest time losing this baby weight! I went back to work a few weeks ago after having the summer off with the baby (I'm a teacher). I've been eating less and trying to exercise when I can. My oldest plays softball and has games everyday. By the time we get home in the evenings and I cook for the family, it's dark outside and I am exhausted. I know I need to find time to exercise. Its so hard! I go for another adjustment in a week and I haven't lost hardly any! I know it can be done because I did it before. Just needing to vent a little.
  2. I am in the same situation. My baby boy is 3 months old. I would like to lose 40 lbs I gained with him plus another 30-40 lbs. I had a fill in my band but it wasn't much. Going in a few weeks for another. I have 2 older kids also and I am having trouble finding the time to exercise. It's going to be a long road. I hate that I have to buy bigger clothes to go back to work but I have a healthy baby so it was worth it. I know the weight will come off.
  3. I recently had a baby boy. I had all but 1 cc removed from my band. I really enjoyed eating things I hadn't been able to since my band was put in. My port didn't hurt or cause any trouble. The last month or so my belly was very tight so you could feel it. Most people thought it was the baby's foot pushing out. Good luck!
  4. Sounds very much like a gallbladder attack. I had mine out in dec 2011. The sooner you get it out, the better you will feel.

February Challenge--Love is in the Air!

197 today. Down 3lbs total for Feb. Hate not loosing fast like I did in the beginning.
  6. I really like the canned chicken breast. I mixed it with chicken broth so it's moist and mashed it up with a fork. I ate cream of wheat, oatmeal, mashed potatoes, sugar free jello and pudding.
  7. I am in the same situation. I have been banded 3 yrs. I've lost 75 lbs but still have about 40 to go. I've been trying to track my calories. I have good restriction and stay full for 3-4 hrs after I eat. I try to exercise as much as I can. I recently got another fill and have lost 10 lbs since last month but its slowing down again. I know it's harder to lose the smaller you get but it's extremely frustrating.

    Lap Band Buddy Under 40

I am 34. I've had my band for 3 years. I'm still figuring it out on most days. I've lost 75 lbs total and have about 45 left to lose. I just joined the forum for some extra support and motivation.

    No more adjustments

I have a 10 cc band and currently have 6 ccs in my band.
  10. A friend of mine who had the band would open and drink one diet coke a day. He would sip it and let it almost go flat. I have drank soda a few times but I feel terrible afterwards so I don't bother with it.
  11. I no longer drink carbonated drinks. I still drink my sweet tea and water. Can't give everything up!

    BCBS Fed response...

I also had my surgery 3 years ago so that probably makes a difference on the requirements.

    BCBS Fed response...

I also had to meet with a nutritionist, just one time.

    sigh.....

I know it sounds crazy but maybe you aren't eating enough. If the calorie deficit is too much your body will start storing. It's easy to get frustrated especially when it's something you want so badly. Don't lose hope.
