  1. I ran across this site the other day and it reminded me of what cheryl2586 posted here, now mind you we can't eat all the stuff that they suggest on the site, but there is some really good ideas like the salad one: http://thedecoratedcookie.com/2010/10/a-mason-jar-meal-my-6th-pfb-challenge/

    Butterfinger Protein Shake

okay here is a question for all of you..... when making your protein shakes that you add stuff to like sugar free pudding, do you make the box kind of pudding or do you use already made pudding? Sorry I haven't experimented with shakes yet, just mix my powder with milk or I buy the pre made shakes. But really want to try to make my own
  3. yummy for sure, I am going to do this as well. What all is in the jars, looks like mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach and is that quinoa in there too?

I took all of your advice and I called my Dr. and you all were right, I needed a unfill. I have had other issues this year that had caused my band to slip ( I never knew this could happen). I have been hospitalized 2 times this year for an Ilieus ( sorry spelling?) its a blockage I get in my intestines because of a narrow opening. So as a result I have been following a low residual diet, kinda like one someone with diverticulitis ( again spelling lol) and for the last few months I have been vomiting after eating almost everything and some days it was even a struggle to keep fluids down. I didn't think it had ANYTHING to do with my band, my gastro doctors and doctors in the hospital kept telling me that everything was passing thru the band, it was in my intestines. BIG mistake to not call my lap band DR and just think they were right. So yesterday when I went in my DR told me with all the vomiting and such my band has slipped and that part of my stomach has slipped up into the band and was creating the band to be way too tight. I had 6cc's in a 10cc band, they took out 3cc's and I have to go in after the holidays and have a upper GI to make sure my stomach is okay and then we will start adding fluid back very slowly. I am very nervous about my band being this loose again, I am terrified of gaining weight. But I can tell you it was nice to eat yesterday and NOT get sick. I did very well as to not over eat. I am sorry this is so long.

Thank you all so very much for the warm welcome and for the advice. I am going to call my Dr in the morning, It is just do weird that I can do so well for 6 and a half months then all of a sudden I have these issues. I kinda knew that I may need a unfill a bit just terrifed I will gain weight or not loose anymore. Thanks Again.
  6. Hi everyone, I am glad I found this site.I had my surgery August 25, 2010. I have done very well with the lap band surgery. I have 5 cc's in my band and I am 20 pounds away from my goal weight. I haven't had a fill in my band since May 7th, 2012. Lately I am having problems with vomiting. I have read through other forums and I have seen where some have suggested that the band may be to tight, taking to big of a bite etc. I take my small bites and even the smallest amounts have been bothering me. I can tell you even fluids sometimes bother me. I am afraid with all of the vomiting I have been doing has made my band slip or something. I am open to any and all suggestions that anyone can offer me.
