  1. I'm literally laughing out loud at these Mickey stories.
  2. Ugh, poor girl. I'm bad about taking my kids to the doctor (with 5 of them, I really only take them when they are SUPER sick). I hope I'm not THIS bad about it, though! I gotta think I'd get them there before they DIED.
  3. Oh my Dolly Parton week. Paula Abdul drives me nuts. I think she might be mildly retarded or something. She's never formed an entire sentence without tripping over it or screwing something up, and half the time when she finally gets all the words out, they don't even make sense together. I think Simon is really letting his "mean judge" persona go to his head. I'm liking him less and less. I don't mind him telling them that they weren't good and even being brutally honest, but sometimes I think he's just being mean to be mean. I'm willing to bet that some of the times he says they were awful, he doesn't really think that.
  4. That's outrageous, especially considering all they do is stick a needle in and push some saline through.
  5. People are nutty. My grandmother wouldn't see a dentist (ever in her life) because when she was a little girl, her father died from an abscessed tooth (in the 30s). It had gotten infected before he finally went to the dentist. By the time he did, it was too late and he died from it. His wife spent the rest of her years telling her kids that the dentist killed him. Obviously, the dentist didn't kill my great grandfather, just as no one has gotten Parkinsons from WLS.
  6. That is totally unacceptable.

And Orville Reddenbacher 100 Calorie Popcorn! And don't forget your Brita! Their product placement is driving me NUTS.
  8. HAHAHAHAHA
  9. This isn't fast, my ticker starts in August when I did several months of WW preband. LOL
  10. I have nothing to say right now that would be appropriate. :sneaky:
  11. Oh hooray, we even got a hairflip! Fun!
  12. Maybe until you got to that lazy part. But I can own it, so no argument here. :sneaky:
  13. Good for you! This is my "makeover year", too! Got my lapband, next I'm getting a nose job (both for functionality reasons and for cosmetic ones), then once I've lost the rest of the weight, a tummy tuck and breast lift. I deserve it! So do you!
  14. This Easter candy is the bane of my existence. And what did I do last night? I bought 5 more bags on clearance. Someone kick me.
  15. I think what we all need to remember is that most of us have a warped sense of self image. And just because I think I am fat, doesn't mean I look at you and think "what a pig". Because it's not about you, it's about me. I think everyone looks great except myself, at any size. At size 18 I could carry on about how fat and disgusting I am, and I would undoubtedly offend some other size 18 who assumed I was also saying I felt they were fat and disgusting. However, that's not true at all. I think they are beautiful, it's myself I have the problem with.
  16. My next trip down is April 2nd for a fill.
  17. Yes, Dr. Curry will fill you if you have surgery somewhere else.
  18. I am more upset about my breakup with Mickey than I was about my first husband.
  19. It still happens to me from time to time and I'm about 6 weeks out. Pretty annoying.
  20. Keep in mind that if you have surgery in Mexico, you'll have to pay for the fills you get locally (which can run into the hundreds of dollars each!). I've also heard it's not easy to get local doctors to fill Mexico patients, so make sure you've found one before you have the surgery.
  21. McDonalds does not agree with me. Tried an Egg McMuffin the other morning because I was on the road and starving... I ate about half of it, but it was NOT pleasant going down. Yesterday the kids had nuggets and fries, so I tried to have a few of those. About 3 nuggets and 6-8 fries - again with the hurt. I love me some McD, but not enough to be in pain for it!! Guess it's time for us to go our separate ways. McD probably accounts for at least half of my excess weight. LOL
  22. Weighing less than my husband is definitely high up on my goal list! Congrats to you! What a great NSV!

I have a Mirena IUD and it's the best thing I ever bought. I don't really have periods (light light spotting - like a pantyliner is all I need), and it lasts for 5 years. I love it!!!
  24. Wow and in just 6 months! Amazing! Happy Birthday to you!!!
