  1. Wow, we both got fills today and both go back in 3 weeks. The race really IS on. LOL
  2. The Isopure drinks are definitely not my favorite, but I can usually choke it down for the Protein. I think part of my problem is, that's what I had post op, so now when I taste it I remember how miserable I was that first night. LOL The Stacker 2 Protein Water (Pink Lemonade is the one I tried) is a little tastier, but it's only 20g protein.
  3. I got 3cc for my first. What size is your band?
  4. and got me a fill... Ok I'm corny and old. But I got a fill today! 3.5 hr drive each way and 20 min appointment. LOL She put 3cc in my 10cc band. She said I should notice a difference. I'm about to die of hunger, I really should have eaten before I went in. All I've had today is Protein Water. LOL. Tomorrow puree and then one day of soft, and then I get to put this thing to the test! Today WOULD have been my first day on regular diet, but instead I got the fill. So I pushed it back 3 more days. I'm ready to do some chewing already!
  5. Mine just came back yesterday and I'm a month out! GRR!!!
  6. OMG I can do you one better. Not only was it not where I thought it was... but this "lump" I've had that was hurting and freaking me out, and I was sure was a cyst or a tumor... was ACTUALLY the port. LOL
  7. My ticker starts back in August when I joined WW. :blushing: I did good through Sept and October, then didn't go back til last week. I figure hey, 30lbs lost is 30lbs lost!
  8. I'm right there with you!!! I was in the checkout line today behind the most annoying lady ever. She was stopping the cashier every 3rd item to ask about the price or some such thing. I mean, it was seriously ridiculous. So there I was, next to all those candy bars. I actually picked one up and looked at the fat/calories and was totally appalled. I did that a few more times and got more appalled by the minute. No way I'm wasting 250 calories on a candy bar! So, I guess it worked out in the end, but dammit I wanted one. LOL
  9. I had a 3 hour drive home the next day (well, I wasn't driving, but you know). I wasn't exactly happy to be in the car, and I kept the pain meds handy. By the 3rd day, I was getting around pretty well, although still a bit of trouble climbing up into our pillow top bed.
  10. Congratulations to you! How exciting!! Sorry that doctor was such a twat.
  11. I figure as long as I account for it, it's my decision to make, kwim? All those months at WW, that's what I used my 35 flex points for - DQ. rofl
  12. Ok, here's my pre-confession! I'm going to eat a peanut buster parfait tonight! Technically I'm on mushies until tomorrow, but tomorrow is my fill, so I will be on post-fill diet for 3 days. Not supposed to be eating ice cream, either, but a girl does need her vices. I've stuck to this last 6 weeks of various diets (preop, liquid, puree, etc) better than I've ever stuck to anything in my life. I'm pretty proud of that. :sneaky:
  13. We have almost the same to lose, I feel like I need to beat you now. Game on! :sneaky:
  14. Lets hear em! Sometimes it's the little things... *take the stairs 2 at a time *go to the gym and not feel like the fat one *learn to kite surf on our vacation *shop in the normal girls department *buy something at Victoria Secret that isn't perfume *take the kids to the amusement park, and RIDE with them *go on long bike rides in the park
  15. Last time I got my nails done, the girls commented on my weight loss. No one there knows anything about my band or diet or anything, so that was nice. I think I'm only down about 15lbs since the last time I was there, glad to know it shows!
  16. I did the first part of my yoga DVD today. I am really out of shape. LOL
  17. I didn't do crap last week. The bright side is, I can't do WORSE.
  18. Well, if you've consumed sugar, it's possible you haven't gone into Ketosis. It's very easy to break it.
  19. I financed mine through Care Credit. Not the cheapest way to borrow money, but we're paying it off pretty aggressively, so it's not so bad.
  20. I haven't had the time or the energy to focus on ME this weekend. Ugh. Here's today: B: Medifast Cappucino S: Few wheat thins, 1 string cheese L: chocolate Slimfast D: Broccoli and Beef (about 1/2 cup) S: Medifast Latte So, as you can see... Not only did I drink most of my calories, when I DID eat, it wasn't the best choice of foods. Oh well, I guess it beats pre-band. LOL
  21. He better not tell me he's not filling me after I drove 3 hrs each way. LOL
  22. Syesha is really the only girl I like. David Archuleta is going to win it all. I hope. :smile2: I really like the other David, too. And Chikezie.
  23. I just saw that it's going to be in the 40s on Thursday. So the snow problem will likely work itself out. (Hopefully not right into my basement)
  24. The week before starting preop diet, I told dh "The eat is ON". LOL Luckily I didn't eat enough to gain any weight, but not from lack of trying!
