  1. I've only got 4cc in mine (2 fills) and I have a great restriction!
  2. I'm still on the couch part. Someone needs to smack me hard.

I'm a member but I haven't gotten around to actually USING the menus. I love them though! And most of it seems band doable, and I am supposed to eat several small meals like that. You can swap stuff out, if it's not something you can tolerate, too. I can't vote for Mark or Roger. I love Roger, but I would kind of like to see the girls have a chance, so I can't vote for him. I can't vote for Mark because he wins everything. So I guess I'm leaving it up to the rest of you. LOL
  4. I have pretty good restriction right now and no problems with sushi other than 3 of them filling me up! It all depends on the person, I guess.
  5. I was off my meds just a month after surgery. Went from consistently 150/100 medicated to 130/85 unmedicated.
  6. lol at clean house more often. That definitely won't be one of mine.
  7. My husband should have bought him a band instead of me. Probably would have been a better return on his investment!
  8. Oatmeal is about as much as I can tolerate in the morning. Anything more than that and forget it. So it might be that you're just tighter in the morning! I can eat a LOT at dinner, but I'm trying not to feel too bad about that because my band is super tight at Breakfast and lunch.
  9. Yep, I didn't eat anything the day of my first one, either, thinking I'd be ok on liquids. I was about dying by the time I went to bed that night. Learned my lesson! LOL
  10. I'm allowed to have something light and easy, like cottage cheese, beforehand. But then clear liquids the rest of the day.
  11. Wow! Such a big difference already!!!! Awesome!
  12. Hey, I think this thing works! My 2nd fill is GREAT! I can still eat more than I should for dinner, but in the morning that thing is locked down tight! I tried to eat an egg and piece of toast this morning and couldn't finish it. Nice! For lunch I had a small Wendy's chili. I guess I'll stop feeling bad about how much I can eat at dinner!
  13. It's not a race. Just keep chugging along!

The worst was when they did the makeover and Mark started sobbing when he saw his wife. He'd just been home the week before!!! It's not like he hadn't seen her in 6 months. Geez. LOL
  15. All you need to know you can find right here on the forums, and it won't cost ya a thing!
  16. I have a 10cc band and my first fill was also 3cc.
  17. My doctor never asked me what my goal was, nor did he assign me one. At least not that I know of, if he did, I don't know about it!
  18. I had to lose 30lbs before I went down a size. It was VERY frustrating. My husband lost 20lbs and was down 2 sizes. How annoying was THAT?
  19. I had a 2 week Medifast diet and I think I lost about 5 pounds. Nothing to get excited over, really.
  20. Is there someone else that can go with you, that doesn't have an emotional stranglehold on you?
  21. Ugh! That sucks! I would have for sure not gotten a fill yesterday if my doctor did that. They'd erroneously written down my last appt weight as 240 and then yesterday I weighed in at 224. So, each person I saw along the line thought I'd lost 16 pounds in the last 3 weeks and were all excited for me. Um... no. That's incorrect. LOL
  22. Its worth it. :bolt:
  23. Yeah I told my husband Dolly looked great but sounded about 5 years past retirement.
  24. How is it going, y'all? I had been bouncing around the same 2 pounds for WEEKS and then was finally down 2 on Tuesday morning and it's stayed gone. (I think it had something to do with the 400sq ft vinyl floor I installed by myself!) I had my 2nd fill yesterday, 1cc added to my existing 3cc (10cc band). The doctor said this one will taper off more slowly (I sure hope so, that last one was good for about a week and then I could eat an elephant on rye!) and to come back in 6 weeks. Yikes! I'm just now fixing to eat Breakfast, so I don't know how the fill is, yet. No problems drinking yesterday, though, even big sips! (I live on Isopure that first day - it's not my favorite, but neither is hunger. lol) My first big goal is to get in the 190s by our beach vacation, which is in July. 20.4 pounds to go for that, and 3.5 months to do it in. That seems reasonable enough, but time will tell. The big BIG thing happening is my 20 year class reunion in October. I'd really like to show up to that THIN and RICH. I told my husband I was working on thin, so he could work on rich. :huh2: I'd LOVE LOVE to be at goal by then. Man I'd love that. So, that's it from my world, what's up in yours???
