  1. Its most likely your internal stitches. I had the same thing after my gallbladder surgery and also when I had surgery on my ankle. It goes down after a while.
  2. i live in the PA area and i couldn't find it anywhere. but i did find another powdered peanut butter at our Giant Foods store (just your tyipcal grocery store). it was in their organic/natural aisle. it was a little expensive- $7.99- but i guess worth it since it saves me about 150-200 calories when i use it! amazon has PB2 if you can't find it anywhere else and they typically ship pretty quick. the only downfall is that in order to get free shipping you have to spend $25. otherwise the shipping for just the PB2 was around $8.50- the PB2 was only around $5.50! good luck finding some!!!

You look amazing! How tall are you?? Trying to figure out how I might look 5 mths from my surgery!
  4. so i've been on a stall for the last 6 days and i've been ridiculously disappointed and down! today we were at my brother-in-laws house watching the football game and all of a sudden i realized i was sitting with my legs crossed. not just crossed but ALL THE WAY CROSSED!!!! i can't even remember the last time i've been able to cross my legs. stupid victory i know but my victory all the same!!!! helps a little with the stall!!!
  5. i was told to not use a straw but i really miss my straws!!!! how far out are you? wondering if i will eventually be able to use a straw
  6. i am with you girl! i will be 4 weeks out this tues and since mon i have been the EXACT weight every morning. i know all the things you said- keep going, put away the scale, lalalalalalalala... i am happy with my loss thus far. i was a low bmi'er. i'm 5'3" sw was 220 on day of surgery and today i am 194.6. so it's a good loss so far but it is so encouraging to see at least a little something every day. i suppose the good thing about this is that i can't really throw in the towel out of frustration like i would have in the past with diets pre-sleeve. kind of forced to keep going. hang in there and know that you have people in the same boat plugging along with you!
  7. i am only 3 1/2 weeks out and just starting on the soft foods. when you say your tummy doesn't tolerate things, what happens? some of the same things i have been trying have been "coming back up". not throwing up but just like baby burp type, minus the burp! sorry that sounds gross but i'm sure you understand! lol
  8. I have been 194.8 since Monday. What the heck. How frustrating

  10. I would say no. While I was at the hospital I could have had no one and been totally okay. I guess it depends on your personality. I am a very independent, I can do it myself or learn how type of girl. But I have friends that want someone by their side at all times when they are not feeling well. But when I was at the hospital if I wasn't sleeping I was up walking. But mostly sleeping. And when I got home I w9ld have been okay on my own if I wouldn't have had to worry about getting my kids up and on the bus. I would say help for the first day or two when you get home would be better. Maybe a friend to help with the laundry until you can lift!?! Good luck!!!
  11. Are you still on an all liquid diet? Also - yellow can be a sign of gallbladder issues. Do u have any symptoms of gallbladder attacks/issues? I was told that loop that sinks is typically from lots of oils and fats so possibly your body is ridding itself of those things
  12. What do you do with the crab and cheese? Is it the cheaper crab in the tuns aisle?
  13. Sleeved on the 18th. Surgery day weight 220. Today 194. Stalled for all of this week.
  14. I was just about to mention that "quick fix" comment and then I saw you caught it too! I had two people tell me similar things (taking the easy road, going for the quick fix). I stopped talking to them about my journey.
  15. I was also sleeved on the 18th! I noticed my belly, which was already pretty much gross and had a life of its own down there, has a kind of deflated look to it. My stretch marks are no longer flat and pink. They are indented and kind of silvery in color. I call it my apron. It just kind of hangs over my csection scar. If we have the money later on down the road I am seeing some skin removal!
  16. So I think I may have hit a stall. I am 22 day post-op and have been stuck at 194 for 3 or 4 days now. What is going on??!! It's super frustrating. I was doing so well. I was 220 on day of surgery and now nothing. Any way to jump start things again or is it just a waiting game at this point?
  17. I was sleeved on the 18 th of Dec too. My surgery day weight was 220 and today I was 194. Hoping to be in the 180's by Feb. I'm getting a bit worried that I am entering that third week stale period
  18. I love (or did love ben and Jerry's ice cream so I was trying to come up with something similar. Doesn't taste like chunky monkey but when my husband tried a sip he thought it tasted like the bottom of a banana split. Had a strong chocolate covered banana taste with a hint of Peanut Butter
  19. Is anyone a member there? I saw they are running a special right now. $1 joiners fee and $10 mth. I was planning on doing videos at.my house and walking outside but it is freezing and icy around here right now. I am only 21 out bit I was thinking that I could at.Leary use the treadmills there. And as long awning don't babe to sign up for an extended period of time with the special.deal it would be worth it for me until I am cleared to do heavier exercise. Is it a nest market like gold's gym? That is a big turn off for me. My mom suggested curves but that is way to monotonous for me. I am a classic adhd patient so I need change and often or I get sick of routines.and quit! Lol!

  21. yummy! i'm not a big creamsicle fan either but you get to a certain point with the shakes that anything new is better than just the taste out of the can!
