  3. I made my decision based on what I researched and what I know was the right decision for me. I didn't need any approval from a single person. Now that being said my oldest brother decided not to respond to my PM's. His wife made a couple of comments by PM's and I let her know real quick what all I had been through with all the pre op test and consults and my countless hours researching. She doesn't and never has had a weight issue! Her response was I have researched it also....LIE! Anyways my brother finally called me the Saturday before my Monday surgery. He was only scared of the unknown. Now my oldest son just a couple of weeks ago made a comment that he really didn't want me to have the surgery in the beginning. I told him well I am glad you kept it to yourself. I have really had the best response from co workers and friends. I actually posted my WLS on facebook a few weeks back. I had no negative feed back and several PM's about needing advice on how to proceed with WLS. That was my intent. If I can help anyone that is where I was at this time last year, I want to help.
  4. my newest fave is turkey and swiss cheese omelet. Of course it was 2 meals, but something different. I was wanting a turkey melt off the menu and ask if they could make me an omelet instead since I don't do bread...OMG it was yummy. Even the waitress thought it sounded good and said she might get it put on the menu.
  5. Tuna, low fat cottage cheese, turkey chili with cheese. eggs, egg salad, avocado, chicken salad. cheese sticks, cheese slices. I go for low fat, I don't do pasta, bread, rice, corn, potatoes, I try and stay away from starchy foods. I have a protein shake for breakfast every morning. then snack, lunch, snack, dinner, another snack if I am low on my protein. Good luck and I hope your husband is better soon.

  12. When I seen my dr. a couple of weeks ago. I mentioned being light head. I was on a steroid for inflammation in my lower back. She thought it was from that, but did tell me to get back in if it continued I might be dehydrated. So make sure you are getting in your fluids. Just a thought.
  13. I had my surgery with Dr. Ronnie Keith also. Just had my 4 month follow up with Winter. I don't have to go back now till Aug to see the dietitian. I had no problems other than the soreness.
