Hello, I am a 52 yr old who needed to change my family history of large unhealthy females. I started researching WLS and felt that it was my last option. My insurance did not cover any type of WLS and turned me down. They had a note requirering info on the surgeon and cost so I went forward with the seminar and first dr. appointment. At that appointment my life changed forever. When I seen the dr. I found out that my insurance was doing a pilot program and I qualified! I will be 1 year post op on January 28th. I started this journey at 287 lbs. and I am down to 171 lbs. So far I haven't had any issues! I love my sleeve!
