  7. i took 2 weeks nd was hoping for a 3rd but didn't happen i say take as much time besides the healing, fatigue there is also the adjustment to eating the "right " way and planning your meals changeing your wy of thinking about taking time for yourself too. as nurses we care for others before we do dilly squat for ourselves, it's in our blood.... good luck!
  8. don't know if it's restriction yet. yesterday i had my 2nd fill on my band. total of 7ml on my 14ml band. so far i have no complaints. my doctor said that i have cut my excess fat by 47% and still ahead of the game. so happy to hear that. i dont know if i am gettting closer to the green zone. it's difficult for me cause i dont have a designated time for my meals. does anyone else have trouble finding time to eat?

ooohh, you are too sweet....sending you a huge cyber hug sister!!!!
  13. that is so cool!!! yes definetly, healing is the one priorty after surgery. i think i healed good cause i haven't had heartburn, PB, or much pain. i did have jitters yesterday, so my stick of string cheese felt stuck while i was at the doctors visit, good grief...but that's it. i guess i was kinda nervously excited about my first fill day!!!! best of luck to you too and happy thanksgiving!
  14. i most certainly was. the doctor didnt tell me but on the day of surgery he filled me with 5cc on my 14cc band. i am guessing this is why. so any questions call your doctor and see what is happening. as for me i stuck it out with following the liquid diet without any complications or death, lol, that was kinda a joke...okay here is another one....i would tell people at work when they would ask, "is that all you are eating---drinking Protein shakes and Water?" i would say yes, cause my doctor said that i already ate enough food for all my life and that now i need to drink lots of Fluid for the rest of my life. i thought it was funny but thinking that i was going to do it for the rest of my life made the 2 weeks go by faster!!! to me humor helps, hope it helps you too
  15. thank you Maddysgram, i know that was kinda crazy, "eat more" :0 i'm like suuuurrreeee! you too florida princess
  16. i think i had a "stuck" yesterday, of all days the first fill post surgery. it just felt like something was just stuck there in my throat and stomache entrance, hahaha. but i am so glad that i havent had a PB, i would probably be saying YUCK!YUCK! too.
