  4. hi I was banded oct 19th and I am really starting to notice hair loss now. I too not thick hair but so much that it seemed thick. people have asked if I got a haircut but have not mention hair loss. it's not like I have bald spots. I do worry through my head feels weightless!!
  5. I too was told by my doctor that this will take for some of us even into a year to completely heal! wow I didn't see that coming. but it is what it is. as long as its not red, hot to touch, or oozing and you don't have a fever I'm sure this too will pass! everyday the journey gets better!!!!
  6. try drinking Water. might be dehydration. call you doctor that always helps me. i wish you luck.
  7. good decision and best of luck to you! believe me we were all nervous! it's been great!
  8. I would stay here. I live in a border town in Texas and believe me it's scary the things I hear happen across. besides that its not one day surgery like others have mentioned its the follow up. I am a nurse and have seen patients come back with dangerous complications or infections. if you have the money do it here...there is no place like home!!!!
  9. thanks destynee tea sounds good
  10. how about calling your doctor? I mean 3 days to drink a Protein shake is too much. It might be that your band was filled too quickly or too much. Communication with your dr is very important especially the first few weeks post op. good luck

  15. i am no expert, i did do research and read my book i follow the doctors advice and instructions, but it's all still new to me and i was in the same boat as you about 2 months ago. i just started with the journey and i have lots to learn and lots to practice. lots of new habits is what i mean,,, but it's do-able, just trying to get the hang of things once again after 20yrs of being a slacker with myself good luck and don'y get discouraged!!!
