  1. Thanks everyone for your advice. I am going to go down list and try each one till one works, LOL. I hope at least one does. I really appreciate all the support!
  2. Hmmm, awesome. I appreciate it. Anything that will work at this point! LOL
  3. Hmmm good to know. Thank you. I was under the impression that we couldn't take pills after the surgery but thank you. I will look into it.
  4. Is that a laxative or a stool softner?
  5. Question, I bought unflavored protein powder but when I added it to my Protein shake to try it totally had a taste. Is this normal? What's the point of unflavored if it's gonna have a taste. Hmmm
  6. Ok guys gross topic I know but I really need some advice. I have been having bowl problems since surgery and I don't know what to do. I have a prescription for stool softner but it burns my thorat really bad and tastes horrible. I have tired to mix it with milk which does help with the burn but I almost throw up everytime I drink it and I have to do 25ml shots at one time and twice a day. Does anyone have any advice for me or maybe someone who had this same problem could tell me what they did I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much!
  7. another way to add protein to your potatoes is some plain fat free greek yogurt. It taste just like sour cream. Use it on chili or beans or anything you would want to use sour cream on.
  8. Thanks everyone. I appreciate you taking time out to answer my post. Thanks
  9. Ok, quick question. I asked my nurse if it was ok moving on to the purred stage being less than a week out and she said that I could if I felt like my stomach was ready for it which I do. Sooo I am moving into the purred stage, which has been fine so far,, but I wanted to know if moving into a stage quicker is going to slow down my weight loss or hinder my weight loss any any way. Did anyone move to the stages of eating quicker and relize it was hurting the weight loss at all? My mom is just freaking me out about this and I needed to hear it from you guys that have been through it. Thanks everyone I really appreciate your respose!
  10. Thanks for thee info! Is that the one from Walmart? Which flavor is good? I was looking for a good unflavored Protein powder thinking I could put it in a lot of things so I can get all my protein in. I have heard nectar is good.
  11. Hey family, Just wondering if anyone has tried the brand Proventive, harmonized Protein powder from Sprouts. Before I open it I wanted to know how it tastes. It has 24g of protein in 1 scoop so it's the highest I have found so far. Looking foward to your responses! Thanks guys
  12. Mmm that sounds good too. I will def try this! Thanks
  13. I think it's 2 weeks after your sugery but every surgeon and doctor is different
  14. 1/4 c of plain fat free greek yogurt 1 tbs Peanut Butter 1/2 banana 1/2 bs unsweetened shredded coconut (optional) Stir it together and eat with a spoon. Great source of Protein and yummy. Haven't had it post op yet and haven't checked the nutritional facts on it all but I think it would be a great source of protein. Maybee even using banana baby food instead of the banana would make it lower in sugar. Mmm so good
  15. I wish only but the best for you. It will all work out in the end it just might take some time. Hang in there and keep fighting. I know there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel but there always is. It just might take a little longer than wanted to get there. Even though I haven't had my surgery yet I am here for support if you need it. Stay strong!
  16. I keep trying to remind myself that. LOL... When I want to cry I will just think of you and how you have to be on it for 14 days. It is better that you get to have those other things but it is still hard to eat he same stuff all day everyday. Hang in there. We are almost at the finish line!
  17. Is fat free and zero fat the same thing?
