  1. Good luck tomorrow! Not to be negative but pls do not go into this thinking it will be a quick fix. It's been 1yr since my band procedure and unfortunately I am at the same weight. Even though I knew it wasn't a quick fix, I think I hoped it would be (which is 100% my fault). Plus my clinic went bankrupt a few months after my surgery (CIBO clinic in Toronto) so that didn't help. If you are disciplined and follow the instructions you will succeed. I am being honest when I say that I did not. My biggest disappointment was that I never felt "full" with the band filled, so I found ways to cheat. Anyways, most people are successful and you will be as well...I'm hoping I will be successful one day. I will pray for you to have great success! God bless and good luck :-) Shahila

Hi everyone I'm scheduled for lapband surgery on the 15th of October (CIBO clinic in Toronto). I'm getting very nervous. Would love to hear from anyone that has been through it recently. I've been reading a lot about slippage and erosion...hopefully this is rare as the doctor says it is. Thanks, shyla from Toronto.
