Hello everyone. I just wanted to share my story about my journey. 2 years ago I was overweight and sick. I had diabetes but required insulin 5 times a day. I have very limited activities because I get tired easily. That is why I made a decision to do this and I can tell you now without a doubt that it is the greatest decision I have made in my life! Now, I get to enjoy my life with my kids doing activities, dancing, traveling, spending time with my family and friends! I am a very busy woman as what my friends tell me... I have 5 kids (ages 25, 21, 16, 14 and 6). My two big kids have there own place already. I take care of my mother who goes to dialysis 3 times a week and I worked full time. I can tell you that I am very happy now than ever! I thank God for everything... all the blessing and the trials because HE made me a stronger and better person! I hope my story will inspire you in your journey that you will be facing! Keep positive and always fall in love with yourself!!!

I am so sorry for not responding right away. I just logged in again after a long time. They are right, it takes time .... Just make sure you do not skip your Vitamins and always drink Protein shakes... That helped me a lot with energy! I never felt weak during my time. Think positive that you are doing great! Drink Protein Shake slowly even if it takes you hours! Below is my current pics after 6 months...

It has been 6 months since my surgery and I will say that it is the best decision of my life! I am diabetic and was taking insulin 5 times a day with a 300/400 blood sugar everyday! Now... I am off insulin and medication. My blood sugar is normal.

Hello everyone! I would like to share how great it is to finally see the hardwork and sacrifices I've accomplished. My HW is 230lbs, SW is 215 and I am currently 173 lbs. I will say this that it is not an easy way out! It is so hard to give up everything that you were accustom too. But having healthy issues like Diabetes... 300-400 blood sugar everyday, shortness of breath and even time to spend with my kids are so limited.. That is why, I decided to change, to go with my WLS! It is the best decision I have ever made in my life. My husband along with my children are very happy to see me live longer! So for you out there who are still deciding to do WLS, I say, DO IT!!! Everything will be okay! I have attached my before and after pics! God bless you all! Have a wonderful Christmas!!!

Hi Oki lady... Are you still looking for a great surgeon you can trust and financing options (credit, in house financing)?... Let me know, i can refer you and they will help you on how you can start your journey. I also paid in cash and did all the requirements and the surgery in less than 2 months.

Hello, my name is Char and I would like to extend my excitement to all of you who are looking into doing the surgery (gastric sleeve). If you dont have a doctor you can trust and financing options or you cannot wait for a long time to have the surgery, please contact me or send me a message and i will be glad to share my personal experience with journey and the people who helped me make it happened! They can also do other part of Texas, such as Dallas, Houston, San Antonio. This is your first step.... I will guarantee you it will change your life, because it changed mine!

Absolutely! I dont do insulin anymore. The only thing I am scared about is gaining weight again. My weight stopped at 160 and I noticed that I can eat more now.
