  5. Time to get back in the docs office, get remotivated and get back in the game. You can do it!
  6. Eat before you go so your not starving. Eat very slow small amounts and chew like crazy. Stop eating when you have had enough and have a ball! Go dance off the calories!!!!

  8. I would get port pain at times if I was working out of doing a lot in the yard or something. It's a foreign object in your body. It will get better! Hang in there

  10. No secret. You have to make u eat less the band won't stop you from eating. It's hard word and requires discipline. Best wishes!
  11. You have a interesting situation . You will not be able to eat like u did before. Ex. You can't take normal bites you would have to take teenie tiny bites you may not even be able to eat certain foods or dry foods. BUT the lapband is a great tool and if you two learn to work togeather you can be successful! Best wishes
  12. The amount of time varies. It will depend on your insurance and what they require. Do lots of research and write down all questions for your doc to answer. As far as your relationship. You will be down for a while after the surgery and you will have incisions I guess it just depends. Best wishes
  13. It helps me to totally trust the surgeon and understand the process. Your going to have a room full of medical professionals monitoring you during this surgery. I think of it as I'm just taking a nap. No pain just sleep. Keep us posted on how you do! Best Wishes!
  14. Agreed. You must see your doc. You are not able to properly nourish yourself that way and you could also be causing other problems with the vomiting. Good Luck
  15. I have not had this either. I would discuss it with my doc.
  16. I think three weeks is really quick. Are you paying or using insurance? Since the band is adjustable, it takes some folks longer or more fills before restriction. For some folks the band might not even work for them. Talk with your surgeon. Best wishes on this journey!
  17. Yes. For a couple of days then off to the basement with that. I work with a trainer now. Maybe two 10 lb weights would be better.
  18. I started earlier than required so I could ease into it. Be strong. You can do it!
  19. Your healing. I didn't each much after surgery. I tried to sip and did a lot of sleeping. Best wishes

  21. I agree with these folks but honestly there must be something wrong the docs are missing. Maybe u should change your team. Sometimes you need a fresh set of eyes. I wish you all the best and hope u get back to a happy u. *HUGS*
