  3. Hang in there it will happen for u! We want that doc at his 100% best!!
  4. Doc said the surgery was long, when I woke up I was in soon much pain. I was a revision from lapband to RNY. They were giving my pain meds in the IV but still the pain was horrible. Doc said it went great, my test results were great but he said u really look bad and I felt horrible. I think my first walk was day 2 and that was getting up and going to the restroom and i felt like i ran a race. Day 3 i walked the hall but could not do the lap. He made me stay so they could watch me.
  5. In Tuesday Out Saturday
  6. I did rompers and leggings and no bra. Lol. Whatever u have that is loose and easy to get in and out!!! Best Wishes
  7. Congrats on the weight loss I'm sure your going to do an amazing job!!
  8. Everyone is different, but each day will get better. Keep walking and sipping resting and take ur pain meds on time. Congrats and hang in there!!
  9. I didn't. I'm glad too I don't think I could have given myself a shot. I did have them everyday for the week I was in the hospital.
  10. I would check with the doc. Maybe u r having an allergic reaction to one of the meds. It's normal for the incisions to itch when they are healing but all over the body is something else and I'm not sure if we can have Benadryl.
  11. That is scary. I follow the doc's instructions. I don't want to take chances, get sick, fail or harm myself in anyway. Food is not worth my life. Talk with your doc, ask lots of questions and follow the docs orders. Best wishes
  12. My surgeon was the same. He would not give me a number he said I want u to be healthy and when u look in the mirror be happy with yourself and your appearance. I was sad at first, but now realize there is no pressure. I had my 3 month check up Thursday and the doc says I'm doing excellent. I was smiling ear to ear. I set small goals and I'm trying to lose the weight one pound at a time, learn new eating habits and set myself up for long term success.
  13. That's AWESOME!! Keep up the excellent work!
  14. Good! I had my 3 month checkup yesterday doc says I'm doing excellent. I do have to work on eating more but other than that I'm okay. I made my mind up that there r certain things I DO NOT EAT period. Sweets were my weakness but I'm determined not to let that beat me so I DO NOT EAT sugar, with the exception of sugar in real food. I'm glad u and hubby r doing this together u guys support each other and keep each other accountable.
  15. I didn't have to do a diet so I started cutting things out I knew I could not have post op. I started early and just went through the withdrawal on my terms! Lol. I'm sure u guys will do great
  16. That's awesome!!
  17. That's just hospital fluids. It's not a real weight gain. I'm glad ur doing better and out of the hospital
  18. Wow that sucks! I wonder why u have to wait are they worried about u being healed enough?
  19. I'm so happy for u and ur daughter! This is a proud moment! Do what u can afford to do, it's the thought that counts!!
