I was banded 1/24/13. I'm at 6.5cc. I'm suppose to get a .5 fill this Thursday, but I don't think I'm going to get it. I'm getting full with a cup of food now and I have to remind myself to eat because I'm not hungry at all now. I think I'm in the "Green Zone"! YAY!

Congrats everyone! I was banded 1/24, down 35 lbs! I'm loving the new clothes I get to wear, even my feet have shrunk! LOL! And I love that I don't think about food every minute of the day! Keep up the good work everyone!

Slowly but surely its coming off. 

9 months here and as I type this, my tummy is sounding like ozzy osbourne singing crazy train..

Since being banded on 1/24/13, I have a craving for sour stuff such as lemons, sour candy, pickles, etc. Before I was banded I didn't eat sour stuff. Now I drink tea with a slice of lemon just so I can eat the lemon. I hid a couple of my kids sour candy in my purse and I'll sneak a couple of slices of pickles when I can. Where is this craving coming from??? I know it's bad for me and I need to stop eating it. I don't do it every day. I reward myself with only one of the above once a week. But I want the craving to stop!!

OMG! Sex is AMAZEBALLS now! I've only lost 30 lbs, but it sure has made a huge difference. I can't keep my hands off my husband. Thank God my tubes are tied so I can't get pregnant.
Can't wait to get a hold of him tonight!

Day 2 post op - I feel so much better than yesterday. The gas is finally passing! I still haven't had a BM. I've been doing a lot of walking. I finished a 16 oz bottle of Water yesterday. Couldn't finish the chicken broth because I got full right away. I feel like I need to burp all the time but nothing comes out. Besides the soreness in my stomach, I feel 80% better!

I was banded yesterday with a hernia repair. Y'all weren't lying about the gas pains, I did not get any sleep last night because of the gas pains. The pain meds the dr gave me are not helping at all. My husband went to buy me a heating pad and some gas x strips. Hopefully that will help.

Just got home! So far the gas is the only pain I feel right now. My throat is very scratchy & dry. The dr found a huge hiatal hernia that he had to repair with stitches inside. I can't tell if it's the gas or inside stitches on the hernia that's causing the pain. I'm about to take my pain meds and go to sleep. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. You guys rock! Just got the call!!! My surgery is scheduled for Thursday at 9AM! It it just now starting to hit me that I'm actually doing this! I can't wait! Thank you to all of you for your support. I can't wait to tell y'all how it feels to be on the other side.
