I also had problems with my band and to get it removed. I opted to have the bypass. It's been a slow recovery, surgery on May 17th. Still no real appetite and some dehydration. I have lost a total of 26 pounds. I know it will take time to get back to feeling like me again. Stay the course and be strong. -

Anyone Revision/Band to Bypass in ONE operation?

I had band to bypass on May 17. I'm down 24 pounds. I had slippage with my band and developed acid reflux in the worst way. It was the best decision ever. I stayed overnight at the hospital and came w/o pain meds. Eating and drinking are going a little slow, however, it gets better everyday.
