when I was 6 days post op I was still in the hospital, so I understand. I felt the same. Wish I hadn't done it. But at 16 days, I'm not hating it. It really does get better. Hang in there.I was in really bad shape at first and wanted to cry but I didn't because I was worried id puke again! I held my husband and said "oh God why did I do this to myself!" I feel better now outside of pain. It's one of those things you'll probably enjoy it eventually you just have to get over this big hump! The only thing I can recommend is what I did which was sucking on ice and taking all of my nausea meds whether I needed them at the time or not. Good luck

Mine was removed 10 days out (yesterday). I was draining 1 - 1 1/2 ounces out until 2 days before and it dropped to 1/2 oz. I won't lie, it hurt like a biotch. Take a pain pill before you go. Once it's out, you will feel soooo much better.

I just read this, I hope you are ok, may I ask what happened so that you lost a lot of blood and needed transfusions. Hope the nose bleeds stop soon.
I was given heparin at surgery time to help avoid possible blood clots later. Apparently it was too much and I bled a bunch. Started passing blood thru my bowels. Bruised at every site I was pinched poked pierced or prodded. This caused me to faint upon standing. Much better now.
