Hmm, I just think you need t go to HR and talk. but talk calm way. I mean say that you don't want your privacy became public information. I just think that if you will just say calm to HR it will not rock the boat. but I understand that it is scared.

Too Little Calories? Anyone Lose Weight With 1000?
scorpion509 replied to mesaucedo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't have a sleeve yet, but from my previous diet experience I notice the same you need to eat a bit more carb for one day to push the weight down. no idea how this work but probably your body afraid that you are going to starve yourself and it keeping all what it can. but when you give yourself more it just take what is need and burn the rest.... -

Looking For A Buddy With Similiar Stats
scorpion509 replied to Ready4success's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi, I have number almost the same like yours. 5'7" started at 277lbs ( but I lost some). My surgery is 9/21. My goal is 160 but I will talk to surgeon in 2 weeks to find out his goal. -
I came from EGD procedure and doctor said that I have irregular z-line and ask if I have a heartburn, I told him that I have some. But now I am worried if I should worry about that or it is OK. Does anyone have something like that?

hi, everyone. I just feel that I need to vent a little. I feel like I am going through the jungle with my machete. Every appointment is make my goal closer but it is not easy to handle finally I finished all my insurance letters psych/NUT/PCP ( still not sure that my surgeon get the nut letter) Today I had the consultation with Gastroenterology MD because I need to have it before having my EGD. I scheduled this 2 weeks ago and tried to schedule the procedure as well but was told that procedure should be schedule only after consultation. Finally today I went to consultation and they told me that they are booked till end of September ( 9/28) and my surgery date is 9/21. I look at the girls and said I need it sooner.... she look at me and said that she is willing to help but not sure how... Finally she found cancellation for tomorrow. the last appointment in the afternoon. look at me and said that she has one but I cannot eat anything since midnight and procedure would be at 2:30pm. I said that I don't have another option so I take this time. To be honest I have no idea how I can handle the no eating and drinking till 2:30pm, but it would be good test before pre-op diet ( liquid for 7 days) WHY all appointments are so hard to get? why we always should almost fight for a date a month in advance.... Thank you , for reading my rambling.....

I heard a lot about terrible pain right after the surgery. and that pain killer meds will help. but only now I realize that in the hospital you probably have it through IV but what about home. you have liquid pain killer meds? how do you take them if even the Water is hard to manage? I doubt that we should take pills.

THIS IS great victory!!!! May I ask you what size your wear before surgery? -
I didn't have surgery yet, but I already found answer to some of your questions. 1. Staples are titanium and they are not dissolve. but stomach tissue does grow over this - apparently. 2. stomach can be expands if you are not eating right. I doubt that in 3 years fom now you can get the leak. I think this is can only happened in time right after surgery ( I am talking might be about weeks)

C-Section Vs Sleeve Pain
scorpion509 replied to blackmagikcrush's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I would like ot hear the reply as well. When I asked this question my surgeon he said that c-section and much harder to handle because it is open surgery.... but I had 2 c-section and first one was terrible and 2nd one was a breeze. but laporascopy I had before was even worse then 1st c-section..... -
I would have liquid preop diet. but I spoke with another women who had the surgery and she said that her doctor allow her just replace 2 meals with protein shakes and keep one meal with normal food.( with some restrictions)

I tried isopure alpine punch. 0 carb. I tried it room temperature and don't like it but I was able to drink 2/3 of the bottle ( 237ml) I was told that cold would taste much better. so might be try to blend it with ice or just drink from the fridge -
