  3. I'm sure ur okay. I started my Pre-op today and I don't have the whole protein shake rule. I can eat meat, veggies, and fruit.
  4. I went to the seminar and called the office 3 days later. When I told them I was in we set my surgery date then. I was shocked it was that fast. Scheduled my Pre-op and then a week later I'll have surgery. I had no consultation which I thought was weird.

  6. Having a workout buddy is what keeps me going to the gym. If you don't have a workout buddy try Workout classes, like Zumba or aerobics. Your bound to meet workout buddies there and Zumba is so much fun! You don't even feel like your working out.
  7. Thanks slim&sexi. Hls50 I have to do a 2 week sugar busters diet. Basically meat veggies and fruit. No added sugar at all. I'm glad my doc does the sugar busters cause the clear liquids Pre op sounds brutal. I'm doing clear Liquids for a week post op. you'll def have to keep me posted!!
  8. Just set my surgery date. Super nervous and extremely excited at the same time. Has anyone had the lapband for greater than 5 years on this forum? I've been researching long term effects of lapband recently and it has caused me to have some second thoughts. Some of the data out there is disturbing. But I have a feeling that having a BMI classified as morbidly obese will cause me much more harm in the long run. Ready to be healthy!!
