Thought I'd share

I had surgery on September 5th an I feel great. The surgery was way easier than I imagined. Recovery was fine. It would have been horrible if I didn't have a private room in the hospital though. The people in double rooms looked miserable!
Anyway, I feel great. I've lost 25 pounds which is more than I thought I would lose right off since I am on the smaller range of weight.
I do get a bit bored with my stage three food though. I'm a vegetarian and not being able to get my veggies is NO fun!

hey guys looks like everyone is doing awesome. i feel much better today i spoke to the nut and she said it will happen oftern what i was feeling. i know it was the banana and Peanut Butter yuk.
i cooked talapia today lets see how that taste had to give my salmon to the dog gross man.
today is my first day back to work im so excited and scared at the same time i packed all my foods for today lets see how the day turns out
still waiting on the state for money grrrrrrrrrrrr that sucks thats why i have to hurry back to work i need a paycheck lol

Yes. Please talk to your doctor. He already okayed it and that probably just didn't get communicated to his coordinator. Good luck!!

Drank my blue drink without any problems. Went downstairs for my X-ray leak test and passed with flying colors. They pulled my drain. And will be releasing me early this afternoon. I'll stay the night in the hotel Lucerna then fly home in the morning!!! Woo hoo!!

It was so nice to meet you no trouble at all!! Hope you have had your ice chips! We actually already left and were staying in San Diego over night and back to Texas in the morning be prepared that blue barium is the puts but necessary :/ I'm so glad we did this girl!! Feeling a little better today. Got my bandages off and got to take a hot shower! Felt so good! Hopefully they will be bringing me my ice chips soon! Thanks Paula for sneaking out last night and coming to see me! Hope you didn't get into trouble!

It's been a pretty ruff afternoon. Finally haves pain and nausea pretty much under control. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I've really been trying to walk. I'm in 308.

Well, so far everything has been smooth sailing. Carlos the driver picked me up at the airport and trish was waiting to greet me at INT. everyone is super nice. The nurse got my IV on the first stick! And I'm a hard stick!! Met the cardiologist and had my EKG. Met dr Ponce and he answered all my questions. I'll be his first case in the morning!! Hope I can sleep!!

CONGRATS! Don't even look back! You are going to have better health, more energy, able to do more things than you ever had before when being over weight. And your going to be even more beautiful than you are now. Sending healing energy your way.

Well, I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my plane. Headed to San Diego, then Tijuana for surgery tomorrow with dr ponce!! Super excited!!

I went to Dr Kelly on May 25th, I'm 19 wks post op and 89 lbs down including my 3 wk pre-op diet. I had a great experience and still have frequent contact with Dr Kelly and Omar. I didn't have any complications and the hospital was very clean.

Not that a challenge should be issued here as to WHY I switched surgeons, Im not the one attacking any particular surgeon. I think they are all good choices. I personally just didn't want to go through a third party or a business "tug of war", but there are "undercover " posts on the bariatric boards by coordinators. Coordinators did a bait and switch tactic when Dr. Kelly first broke away from them. Pressured clients into using their docs and even hacked Kellys email account which took him several days to fix.

I can't wait to through out my grannies panties too (LOL). My joke was always "Victoria has no secrets when it comes to me!" I can't wait for the day I can go in there & buy regular size bras & undies!!! I have already started weeding through my closet for Good Will

That is awesome on dropping 2 pant sizes! WTG! As I am putting away my laundry today I had to laugh at some of my underwear. Wow! Can you say "granny panties"! LOL! I cannot WAIT to throw those suckers in the trash! My kids are out of school today and so my oldest is cleaning out my closet for me. She loves organizing stuff. Can't wait to get rid of lots of old 22/24 and 2x/3x clothes.

Thanks! I am feeling better today. I am really keeping track of my Protein and Fluid intake. Slept a long time last night and maybe that is what I needed. Still shaky but until I get rehydrated I think this is to be somewhat expected. I have officially given up on the Pepcid AC and am now trying Prilosec. Still having some burning today but nothing as bad as it has been.
