  1. Thank goodness!!!! I can eat again. 3/28/07 I went for my 4 week followup and my first meal was Hamburger Steak, mashed potatoes and green beans at The Berryman House. I only at about a 1/4 of my plate. I was able to take some to work the next day for lunch and had enough left for supper but silly me left the plate at work. Oh well. I seem to notice everything is saltier or stronger now. My entire perspective has changed on food in general. Even though I thought I'd die any moment during the liquid diet, I now can say something positive aside of the weight loss came from it. I just have to remember that food is what brought me to this point in my life when making future decisions.

  2. Today is a new day

My lap band surgery was Feb 27, 2007. I lost 23lbs in 7 days. I go for followup with Dr. Blair Rowitz on March 14, 2007 and I will weigh again. I've only got 2 weeks and 3 days left of this stinkin liquid diet. Thank GOD!!! I'm gonna go crazy soon if my sniffer doesn't quite working so well. I'd be fine if I didn't have to smell food cooking all day long at work. I'm so looking forward to those scrambled eggs. I'll be on a soft food diet for 2 weeks following this liquid diet. Well gotta run for now.
