  4. Im getting banded on Sept 6 and what was my biggest support is now against it. Im trying to be good on my preop diet, but my family is making it hard. its hard eating nothing when Im sitting in a room with my husband eating chocolate and drinking pop telling me to do what i want...i feel like Im going to fail the two weeks.. Is anyone else dealing with this type of crap...
  5. Don't feel bad...every doctor has his and hers own way of young the pre op diet . Dr. Pham lets people eat for his diet. so his point his that you don't get more than 600 call a day. my preop goes like this: shake for breakfast, shake and snack for lunch, small snack then dinner... Dinner is 4 oz. Chicken or beef or fish and a cup of green vegs...snacks are cottage cheese.oatmeal.or appliance cup. So all in all don't feel bad you had some food.
  6. I too was doing the same thing...thinking you can eat what you want because you won't after....well im on my pre op diet and all i want to do is have some caffeine and real food... The protein shakes i was put on r hard to drink. so my advice for you is to fine a drink you like before it starts.
  7. Did anyone have a problem finding a protein shake you liked? i m on day two of my liver reduction diet and i can't seem to drink the stuff..
