Hi everyone. I am still here but just don't write much. I love reading about everyone. I have gained a few pounds and I hate myself for it. It is bad eating and not enough exercise. My fault. I did go to the gym today and that made me happy. Go Walking-you look F**Kin amazing. You are a poster child for the band. Everyone is doing great except me. I have a huge muffin top. But my fat ass "serving tray" is gone, so that is good. Everyone enjoy the week. Arlene

I use to buy that too but very $$$$. I now use Body Fortress. At Walmart under $20. I use 1 scoop of the chocolate. My dietitian told me to buy this brand.I do buy their vitamins. Great prices.

I got the band 2 years ago July at almost 62. I wish I knew about the band at a younger age. But I feel much better and can move better. I had the hernia also. My stomach was also in the wrong place and now is perfect. The gas goes away and walking helps and a heating pad. Welcome to the losers club. Arlene

Congratulations !! I love my band also. I know being able to move and enjoy life is the best. I still have a way to go and have been lazy about exercise and some eating. Reading stories like yours make it seem like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you. Enjoy your weekend too Arlene

Hello. I live in Randolph and have the band for 2 years. My doctor is at the BI/Boston and BI/Milton. Sorry to hear about your back but you can do exercises in a pool. I have a bad back and knees and did PT in a pool for a few years until the pool closed. Just got lazy and never went to another place. When is your surgery and what type of WLS are you doing? Congratulations. I had the band 2 years ago and I didn't have real food for at least 2 weeks and then it was mushy foods. Just follow your doctors meal plan and no one else's.

Hello and good luck. I have the band and don't know much about the sleeve or by pass as to pre op and post op diets. I wish you a lot of luck. I had the band 2 years ago at the BI/Boston. I love my band. I live in Randolph and go to BI/Milton for all my follow-ups. My surgeon is now at both hospitals. The WLS is the best thing I ever did for my health. Started at 12w. Now 12 m. So no, my feet are still huge and I am not tall. Runs in my mothers family with the males and me. My brothers have 9's. Lucky them.

I have had 4 fills for a total of 2.4 cc's and feel like I am in the green.

The pictures are wonderful. I did a Disney Cruise about 26 years ago and it was the best. There were over 500 kids on board and you never knew it. My sons were never board. Now time for grandsons to go, just need 15k to take the family. Welcome home. Arlene

Hi everyone. Haven't been on here lately but I do try to read everything. Everyone seems to be having a super summer!! Yesterday we buried my mother. Not sad, she was 96 in July but her mind left years ago so we lost her 4 years ago not yesterday. A month before my sister-in-law, her 97 year old father died. Weird 2 in 30 days. My numbers on the scale have not been great but with not eating so wonderful this week, I am down 5 pounds!! That is something positive. Maybe I can keep up my plateau of over 1 year and get out of the 190's finally. I was banded 2 years ago and the same weight for around 1 1/2 years. Lazy, tells it all. Maybe now that I have no excuse to see my mother and do things, I will get to the gym more often. I pay every month. Everyone, enjoy this wonderful sun shine day (it is in Boston). Love you all. Sorry to hear you're having doctor problems. Monday call the doctor and tell him that if you don't get results ASAP you will report him to the state board of doctors. I have never had anyone other than my doctor do any fills. Good luck. Arlene

Good for you eating healthy. I eat out almost every day. I always say no drinks. That throws them off. I order from the kids menu mostly and have no problems.

Good luck. I had my band at BI, Boston but now see my doctor at the Milton-BI. He goes to both. I used Dr. Schneider. Who is doing your surgery? I found the WLS center wonderful and all the staff is great and my stay overnight was good. Arlene
