    Severe Pain.

I had the same pain. It totally sucked. It is the internal stitches pulling. I had it for about 2 weeks. Then one day at 5 weeks it just disppeared. It was soooo psinful but not dangerous. Ice seemed to help some
  4. Calm down lol! You are not being stupid. We all have these concerns. It took me 2 weeks after surgery to see an actual loss because of all the fluids and gas from the surgery itself. It may take awhile to start seeing results, but you will see them! Just do as your surgeon advises and all should be well. I am 4 months out and just came off a 4 week stall. I thought for sure that was it, but dropped 3 lbs in the last 2 days. Good luck to you!

    Planar Fasiitis

Google taping for plantar facitis. It works. I had it so bad I could hardly walk. My dr told me to tape with athletic tape. It worked wonders and I never had another problem.

    Chopped Off.....

I did the exact same thing for the same reason. You look great!
  9. I'm no expert, but it my understanding that the protein in the shot(I think it is collagen) is not absorbable for our bodies and is pretty much useless. You can search protein shots here and you should get quite a few results by those who have researched this expansively. That's where I read it. Good luck!

    Noticing Weight Loss

Yes I felt exactly like thst. It took 60 lbs for me to see the difference. Pics helped a lot. Taking before and after pics every 6 weeks is what made me see the difference.

    Where Is Everyone From?

My mother in law is from porterville.
  12. My biggest fear was not beingbtuere for my kids. That is also what pushed me to have the surgery. I chose my Dr becuase they were a center of excellence. I also chose him because he conducted the seminar I attended and I was very impressed with him. I have lost 61lbs in 3.5 months. The changes have been phenomenal. I can breathe again. I can play with my kids again. My joints dont hurt.........the list goes on. I would do it again in a second.

    No -One Responds!

I stayed in the hospital 2 nights. I had to request the second night. I went back to work at 1 week because we are in the middle of an election year and I work for a Political Consultant. I would have preferred at least two weeks, but it wasn't horrible. Just try to rest as much as possible while at work. Make sure you take your water and protein with you.

    Coffee

I stayed away from coffee for two months post op. I now drink it daily. I have changed so many things for the better witht this surgery, but coffee is the one thing I'm not willing to give up. I love it! I do drink extra water to balance the dehydration factor.

    I Need Protein Help!

Premier protein from costco is the only one I could really tolerate. I bought harmonizzed and hhave to choke it down. They all pretty much suck. Its just a matter of which sucks least for you.

    When Does Eating Get Easier?

The short answer is yes. It took me 2 months to feel like I could "eat normally" that is eating without feeling like there was a large chunk of food stuck in my throat. I can now comfortably eat 4oz at a time depending on what it is. I measure everything. I get my protein first then veggies.
  22. No regrets. It is a huge adjustment in lifestyle, but worth it.
  23. Yep. It was the worst part of the whoole thing. But att five weeks I woke up one day and it was gone. It really sucked while it lasted though. My surgeon said it was a pulled stitch there.
