For the theigh area try a homemade mask. Make a paste with baking soda and any face wash and let it sit for awhile on the skin then wash off repeat twice a day really clears up pores. Also try mixing lotion, coffee grounds (can ised already used ones) and olive oil together to make a rub for your stretched out skin. Works wonders!

Hello! I was hoping for an October date but my insurance approval came through yesterday! Yay! I have an app with my surgeon tomorrow to set my date! It could not happen fast enough!!!!' I am hoping for next week! God bless the 'thankful' month of sleevers!!! Will repost when I get my date!

It's got my official insurance approval!!!! I am so excited and terrified all at the same time! I have a Wed app with my surgeon to set my date! It feel like forever that I have been waiting for this day an now it feels surreal!

I go to Ross.... a LOT. I keep dropping sizes, quickly. I know I should be happy, but it's rather frustrating sometimes too (i.e. having pants with the tags on them and they fall off of me... who would have ever thought that would happen????).
But in all honesty, smaller sizes still amaze me. I'm in a size 6 (from 18 originally) as of this past weekend. 5-7 more lbs and I bet I can get into a 4. Holy cow!

I have old clothes that are boxed up that I don't fit in anymore from times I lost weight that didn't stick. Though I am really excited about shopping when I get there! I to have thought of shopping now but after doing some reararch on here, many suggest waiting because you lose so fast!

Just from researching; everyone is different. Some people bounce back are home in 24 hours, don't ever use pain meds and are fully functional withing days...others struggle more spend a few days in the hospital and it takes them weeks to feel whole again. Some of this depends on bmi, age and previous physical activity and some of it has no baring what so ever! So you could be fine after a week or you could need a lot more time. If I were you...I would tell your professors about your surgery and ask for a week baring complications and then the door is open of there are! good luck!!!!!

Try this, in a bowl mix together 4 cups fat free milk, chocolate Protein Powder to taste, 1 can condensed milk (unsweetened) and fat free/ sugar free cool whip then put it in an ice cream maker and follow directions. Makes a frostie like consistency in an hour or so in mine and it is fantastic!
Also take 4 ripe bananas slice and freeze for an hour, then put them in a blender with chocolate Protein powder and blend until smooth it makes banana ice cream it is so good!
Both made in prep for this adventure and look forward to making them after I am sleeved!
