  1. I had my surgery March 6. My family kept my 4 year old for a couple of days and then he came home. It was a bit hectic a first but I'm managing . You have a one year old so my prayers are with you because he/ she going to want mommy time. Best of luck and utilize friends an family until you feel better

  3. I'm 3 days post as well and my taste buds have changed. In trying to get down one premier chocolate shake and water. I've been trying not to take the pain meds but what the hell I need relief . SF Popsicle are saving me!! They are my friend! Good luck everyone

  5. Hello, I hadn't surgery Wednesday morning and I most say its been a little ruff. I was released yesterday and slept all day. Today the pain is some what better and when trying to sallow it seems like it has to find where to go! Strange I no!! The stomach is due to the staples and I've been praying that heals soon. I must say that this site ha really helped me and I'm really trying to sip, sip, sip so I won't feel dehydrated . The pain Ned's don't really seem to help the staple pain but I guess it's bearable. Starting weight: 243 Weight day of surgery: 230 Today's weight : 224 Keeping you all in my prayers:)

  7. I am now!! The time is winding down. In less than 2 hours I will be sleeved! Nervous and excited at the same time!
  8. March 6 for me too! On my way to the hospital and praying for us all today!!
  9. Yes!! I'm hungry now but my surgery is in the morning lol!! I've had broth and water all day! Please prepare your self mentally. Make healthy choices that's all. We're getting this surgery for a reason because we need help just like any other addiction. Make good choices, it's all about the right choices' I pray this helps
  10. I will defiantly keep you in my prayers. I'm preparing for surgery in the morning and I have all kinds of thoughts but I've prayed and prayed and I believe in the power of my prayers. I'm doing this for me!! I want to be comfortable in my skin and healthy! I pray that everything works out for you!
  11. Started clear liquid diet to day in preparation for surgery in a.m. The thing that's confusing is that I just got on the scale and I gained 3 pounds since this morning !!!! Has this every happen to anyone? Now I'm more nervous !!!!!

  15. I'm excited as well! Starting my one day liquid diet tomorrow and its finally becoming real that my new journey to a healthier me starts in one day!

  18. I blended one scoop of this soy Protein powder to this Special K Protein shake and it's not bad at all. 35 grams of protein this morning:)
