I drove the end of the second week. I didnt have much energy before then.

I had a low grade fever for the first few days after I got home. I just kept an eye on it and made sure to drink plenty of fluids. If you're worried though I would call the doctor.

August 20 Sleever here also. I have done pretty good all week' date=' but today, I just dont want to drink anymore. Im having trouble pushing the liquidsAlso, are any of the August 20 sleevers still having pain up high? I also had a Hiatal Hernia fixed at the same time, so I am not sure which is causing the pain.[/quote']
It took about 3 weeks for the hiatal hernia repair to stop hurting.

I'm a month out from surgery and I have to basically force myself to eat. I'm not ever really hungry or thirsty, but I eat and drink because I know that my body needs it. I hope that as time goes by that it will become less of a chore

I feel dizzy if I stay out in the heat to long. I go walking in the evenings, when it's a little bit cooler. If it is nasty outside, I try to go to a big store and walk around it.

I actually do have a couple lipomas (fatty benign growths) under the skin.I have one on the side of my arm that you can't really see but now that the fat is coming off that's becoming visible.
I had a benign thyroid nodule that I found years ago after losing weight because it was more visible on my neck.
I think the only benefit to being fat is less damage if you fall down the steps- with all the padding. Had it happen- no problem.
Ooh' date=' actually that's a funny story. I was going up the steps and said "Stupid, (actually didn't say that) why don't you put your coffee cup right here in the middle of the steps so on your way down you won't forget it?"
What do you know, I'm coming down the steps, forget about the cup and get my toes stuck in the cup and go sailing down. coffee is all over the walls, steps, me, and I'm pulling my foot out of a cup. It really was funny,
..especially since I didn't break any bones because of my fat. [/quote']
Your story made me laugh so hard! I'm glad that you're ok!

I would wait until your surgeon has cleared you.

What about your sense of smell? After getting home I had to unplug my scentsy warmers. 22 days out and I still can't stomach strong smells!I swear that I have like a super sniffer now. Any weird smells bother me. And I can't even stand the smell of coffee, and before surgery I loved to drink coffee.< /p>

I guess I need to try my unflavored Unjury. I got the strawberry one and it almost made me throw up. So I've been hesitant to try any of the other flavored

Good luck to everyone who has surgery coming up!

I think our stomachs are very tender and swollen and that's why the first couple of weeks is the hardest. If liquids hurt I can only imagine what it'd be like to try anything with more of a solid consistency. No wonder we are on liquids for a good amount of time.Oh my goodness. I can't imagine what eating real food will feel like

Mine hurts if I start to eat to fast. If it happens, I just put my spoon down and wait several minutes until I try eating again
