Post-Op Nutrition, Lesson Learned
- Post-Op Nutrition, Lesson Learned
I'm a month out from surgery and I have to basically force myself to eat. I'm not ever really hungry or thirsty, but I eat and drink because I know that my body needs it. I hope that as time goes by that it will become less of a chore- The Heat!
I feel dizzy if I stay out in the heat to long. I go walking in the evenings, when it's a little bit cooler. If it is nasty outside, I try to go to a big store and walk around it.- Strange Hard Things Under My Skin....?

270 07/30/2012 235 145- Help....i Can't Stop Thinking About Food
I was hungry up until surgery. I think it was mainly because I knew that I wouldn't be able to eat afterwards. I'm almost 4 weeks post op and I hardly ever get hungry. I eat something every 2 to 3 hours because I know that my body needs the protein.- Can I Rant For A Minute?
My NUT told me that it was ok of I had some yogurt or cottage cheese on my pre op diet. I just needed to make sure that most of my protein came from shakes.- Exercise!
I would wait until your surgeon has cleared you.- Tomatoes And Cucumbers
I can't wait to eat a tomato. Im only 3 weeks post op- The Stuff They Don't Tell You
I swear that I have like a super sniffer now. Any weird smells bother me. And I can't even stand the smell of coffee, and before surgery I loved to drink coffee.- Thoughts On Unjury?
I guess I need to try my unflavored unjury. I got the strawberry one and it almost made me throw up. So I've been hesitant to try any of the other flavored- The Stuff They Don't Tell You
I forgot about that. I can't tolerate sweet food any more.- The Stuff They Don't Tell You
Hiccups hurt really bad.- Surgery Tomo Can You Say Nervous
Saying a prayer for a quick and speedy recovery- Surgery Tomorrow!
Good luck to everyone who has surgery coming up!- Amazing Cottage Cheese And Pineapple Pie
I was looking over my list of approved foods, and I can't have pineapple until after 6 weeks. Have you tried the dish with any other types of fruit?- Sleeve Cramps
Oh my goodness. I can't imagine what eating real food will feel like- Sleeve Cramps
Mine hurts if I start to eat to fast. If it happens, I just put my spoon down and wait several minutes until I try eating again - Post-Op Nutrition, Lesson Learned
