  1. I'm a little confused with the pureed stage and full liquid stage. I am on full liquids I'm allowed to have: Yogurt Cottage cheese Sf jello Sf popsicles Sf pudding Sf custard Pureed and strained soups. Broth Either way I've tried some soups like egg drop soup; miso soup of course without the garnish and creamed.chicken soup and my stomach started hurting. What are you eating?
  2. I do take hbp meds. I asked the dr. If I would be able to get off of them or lower the dose and she wants to wait. I have been drinking more water and tea today. Feeling better. Thanks.
  3. I was afraid of dehydration. Do you think the pedialyte popsicles would help for that?
  4. Did your dr. Give you a specific amount of weight to lose? I know some dr.s won't do the surgery until you've lost the weight but it's not really to see if you could lose the weight but to make sure you liver shrinks and doesn't get in the way during surgery. At least that's what I was told.
  5. I have 5, 3 of them are very small the other 2 are about an inch. Not too bad.
  6. Since yesterday I've been feeling lightheaded, is this something anyone else has experienced? I had my surgery on the 13th. I've been drinking about 30 oz of liquids and having my protein shake along with my creamed soup or cottage cheese,or Greek yogurt, and popsicles. I know I should get more liquids in and that's my goal for today.
  7. This is a helpful thread. I used the machine for only a short time. I had my surgery on the 13 th. and took my machine with me to the hospital. When it was time for me to use it I asked if I could pass on it because it was already stressful having everything connected to me. They said it was okAY. I was there four nights and didn't use it at all. I am not saying not to not use it. But hopefully in a couple of months I could get retested and they can tell me I don't need it any more. Good luck.
  8. Thanks. It does feel great. Congrats to you to.
  9. I was surprised this morning when I was going over my paperwork from my dr.'s visit yesterday (went for back pain) but it reads my BMI is 33.1 when I started the process it was 37. I'm so happy.
  10. I thinks it's very normal. I had surgery on the 13 of this month. But I didn't have to do preop diet, however I did have to lose 10 by the time I went to get my surgery date. Did that, got my appt. And then I felt like I could eat and eat and eat. I gained 5lbs and when I had my last preop class I asked the nurse if that would be a problem. She said if didn't lose it the dr. Would probably have to res schedule that she had seen it done before. You know I was so scared. I did.drop the 5 lbs. Boy was it a close call. Hang in there it'll all be over soon.
  11. Thanks. I'm going.thru Kaiser and they didn't really mention anything about when I could start having it but I really want some.

  17. Well I had to go see the dr. today my back is just killing me. She gave me.muscle relaxors and.will take them tonight. I got weighed in and I've lost 10 lbs. I was sleeved one week today. I think I might be eating to much. Funny and weird but can't tell when I'm full. Has anyone experience this?
