  1. Hope you feel better, too. Co.grays on your nsv.
  2. Oh man! I have that too. Started yesterday morning. Will be going to see the dr. This afternoon as I can't keep anything down.
  3. I'm 4'11" I started at 196 I was sleeved on 9/13/12 weight as if.today 147.
  4. One month ago I joined the challenge and I started at 158 goal weight was 148 and as of today I'm 147. Yay!
  5. Ugh! Feeling sick. Day 2 of maybe a stomach flu, not hungry not able to drink. I also had chills then felt clammy. Called my dr.'s office and they tell me to eat rice, pasta and pretty much white flour products.. really? I told them I couldn't have any of that and I'm waiting for the bariatric dept. To open so that I can call.
  6. Omg! As of this morning I am 149 just 1 or 2 lbs away from this challenge. I'm not feeling good so I don't know how ill do tomorrow.
  7. Thanks. I'm just not hungry and when I drink I have to force it.
  8. Thanks. I haven't called or seen a dr. For this as it just started this.morning. My husband.had it a couple of days ago. I'm not throwing up just stomach cramps, diarrhea (sorry tim) light headache and lightheaded. I had some crackers earlier but went right thru. I'm drinking some crystal light.
  9. Ugh! I'm 2 months out and u have the stomach flu. Don't/ can't eat or drink anything without getting sick. How or what am I supposed to take or do? I don't want to get dehydrated and end up in the E.R.
  10. I'm not to worried about over eating in Thanksgiving Day, as I hate having that stuck feeling. I also plan on eating a few bites here and there. The only thing that sucks is that I can't have corn and I love corn with my Thanksgiving dinner. Oh well.
  11. Thanks ladies. The only problem I have with food is chicken. It still makes me sick. I've also noticed that I get full a lot quicker. Wonder why? How are you doing since you've had the revision?
  12. I don't really know if anyone ever reads my post since I never get much feed back but I still want to share. It's been 2 months today since I've been sleeved. I've been blessed to have given another chance at life since I had diabetes. Yes HAD its been in remission since day 3. I've lost a total of 22 after surgery and a total of 42 lbs. I am 30 lbs away from goal. Hope everyone else is doing good.
  13. I am the same way. I could eat whatever I want and not get sick. Sometimes I wish I would've had the rny instead. Ugh! Just noticed we have the same surgery date. 8 weeks ago today..... I feel so uncomfortable today. Gave some soup a try and that just made me full of air/gas/burp. Hang in there. We have to make good choices.
  14. Justine, I too an guilty of that. I think that has been one of the biggest challenge I've had. I serve myself like I could really eat. Something I have to work at.
  15. I'm getting about 70 grams of protein. The idea is to get about 22-25 per meal. Breakfast 1 scrambled egg with 2 oz turkey sausage= 21 1/2 banana. 2 tbs avocado. lunch 3 oz moist chicken 21 protein 1 cup salad Low fat dressing Apple dinner 3 oz baked white fish= 21 protein 1/2 cup zucchini 1/2 cup low sugar fruit cup Before I get any grief about this being to much food, hear me out. My NUT said to focus on the protein first with a little of the veggies (to avoid constipation) if you can't finish everything try to come back within an hour to finish the meal. If not split it into 2 small meals. I have been doing this and it really does work. I haven't had another Protein shake which is okay with me.
  16. I went to see the NUT this morning and it turns out I'm not taking the right vitamins. All thou it says its a multivitamin it's missing some of the nutrients. I am 7 weeks out and she told me I should be getting all my protein from solid food and to stop drinking the shakes. She gave me a meal plan that is so do-able. She also recommends that if I can't finish my meals to try to eat it within an hour. She also told me to stay away from oatmeal, and keep the carbs down. I should be eating about 70 gm of protein a day. The only time I should have a shake is at night and only if I didn't get in all my protein. I am happy with this NUT as I've been seeing her since before I knew I was going to have the sleeve done. BTW.. I tried the Jennie-o turkey patties that are seasoned and it contains 27 grams of protein. And they are yummy I wrapped it in lettuce.
  17. I must have a big pouch cause I can eat. I had 2 egg whites with a bit 1/2 a turkey Patty for breakfast... Well I only ate half. Then I had the.other half Patty wrapped in lettuce for lunch. My taste buds have not.changed at all. I was hoping I wouldn't like sweets anymore but I do. I must share with you: I'm 7 weeks out today and I was able to wear a size 8 skirt.. yes um doing the happy dance!
  18. New I just might join you tomorrow. I've been putting it off for a week now.
  19. I've heard of people going from banded to either the sleeve or rny.
