  1. My dr told me the chance of you dying in surgery is less than 2 percent. The chance of you living 10 to 20 years longer without the problems of diabetes, heart failure and other problems brought on by obesity is 90%. So the odds are in your favor for a longer healthier life provided you make the necessary changes with surgery. Believe me I have questioned myself the chances of death vs living the same old life.
  2. 66 lbs. you have lost a 4th grader:)
  3. Thank you moneida! I have a dr. Appt next week - I just felt so disappointed bc my surgery date was set and I was so focused on beginning new journey. However, I am now trying very hard to follow the rules of being sleeved - chewing longer, eating without drinking, taking vitamins, and limiting my calories to 800 a day. Now if u could just get motivated to exercise:)

  9. I was very nervous about this procedure - so nervous that I didn't sleep the night before. Thankfully I went to sleep woke up 30 min later and felt the most rested I had felt in weeks! No aftermath no bad experience - it was a breeze! I had heard of others who woke up during the procedure - I am sorry you had this experience.
