    Fallen off wagon

Thank you all for listening...and advice...☺
  2. I have fallen off the wagon, and can't seem to get back on. I'm at restriction I believe because most nights if I eat I vomit. I have also been under a great deal of family stress with no end to the situation. I know this has contributed to my problem. I have only lot 45 lbs. since July 12,2012. I am feeling like I'd better diet or I won't drop the other 45lbs. I just don't know what to eat anymore because it seems all I do is choose soft sugary foods because those are the ones I don't throw up. I have stopped doing all that I was doing. I'm not eating right, not exercising. I haven't been on this forum for about 3 months. My doctor is of no support. He also has no nutritionist. All he wants to do is give me a fill every time I go. I'm so frustrated with myself I just want to get serious again. I am in need of a plan. Please send advice. Thanks!

    Frustrated!

Dear juju1279, I was banded at same time and have lost 39lbs also. I had a fill last Wednesday and can only drink thin liquids. I am on fourth fill and last time had to return to the doctor for unfill. I'm trying to avoid unfill so am sticking to the liquid phase until I can no longer tolerate it. I think it has to do with stress for me. It's also forcing me to really change my bad habits but I do feel I should be able to eat solids.
  4. Congratulations, thanks for the inspiration,

    1 Day After Fill

Had second fill yesterday and all has been fine until today. After I drank protein in shake for lunch I began to have extreme pain on left side and what seemed like horrible gas pain this went on for two hours and stopped. So bad left work.Could it be cuz shake was cold and I drank too fast?

    Fallen Off Wagon

I never really thoughts would struggle as I did before with dieting once I had lap band.....boy was I wrong......I'm struggling big time. I am eating poorly and am not losing...I have not exercised....what's wrong with me....I'm back to my old habit of sabotage myself....I was banded on July 12 and have lost 26 lbs and now it doesn't matter what I don't eat I'm feeling stuck so I give in and eat whatever I want...I know my recent personal struggles have a lot to do with my eating.....I'm feeling like once again I'm headed for failure...
  8. Mis 73, that's amazing!!! What type of food and how many calories daily?
  9. Congrats on being banded! I was banded July 12. For about 3 weeks I had a swollen hard lump where port is. That has since gone down. If pain persists and swelling isn't reduced just call your doctor. I did because I thought swelling and bruising weren't supposed to happen, but doctor said it was normal. Good luck!
  10. Thanks everyone. I'm so scared to fail at this last ditch weight loss effort and I have lost 6 lbs since i was banded 3 weeks ago. I guess I expected to lose more. Per dr I am following south beach diet. I feel loss in inches
  11. I aM super worried that I can eat and I find I have to stop myself because I'm not as full as before....why?????
  12. I'm hypothyroid and since July 4 preop diethave lost 17 but since surgery July 12 have lost an additional 4. It is not as quick as I thought but I feel good and am committed. I seem to have lost more inches. I'd like to know from Jen what type of diet she follows and how many calories she is eating. My doctor suggested the south beach diet once I can eat soft ground food which will be this Thursday. Any suggestions everyone....by the way I'm happy for us all as we are on the way to improved health.
