  1. I will be your buddy Justine. I think we are pretty much on the same timeline. I am hoping for end of August/Early September date.
  2. You look great! Glad you had a complication free recovery.
  3. Something cute and tight and doesn't leave a ring around my stomach. I would like some type of skinny jeans with some kick your azz knee high boots :-)
  4. For me it was weighing in at 262 for the second time in my life and after being on a supervised program for a year. I only was able to lose 19lbs and then gained 10 back. I spent the rest of the same year trying to re-lose the 10lbs.
  5. Good luck to you! Kitty litter does weigh alot doesn't it! I am already online window shopping about what I will be able to buy. I am also looking forward to our next trip in October and although I know I won't be anywhere near goal, I know the airplane ride will be a bit more comfortable!
  6. No, I am hoping for a date sometime next month or early September. I am finishing my final exams tomorrow. Thank goodness. I still have to due pre-op NUT stuff.
  7. Good for you! I wish you the best recovery.
  8. Congratulations on making in to onederland. It seems like a magical place, kinda like a fairytale that we all long to see. I will see it one day! When did you have surgery? How are you feeling?
  9. Thanks! I should post the before booty and after booty photos LOL. Good luck to you too!
  10. I actually really like the pretzel ones
  11. Good luck to you! Please let us know how you are doing....
  12. I have one that I love....mine is the eatsmart brand. It's easy to clean and measures in ounces, grams, kilos.....
  13. No, I have not had it yet. And my hubs likes my butt the way it is. But he is soooo supportive. I think I will have a nice booty it will just be on a smaller scale :-) I am hoping for an August date.
  14. Soccermom- Is that your dog??? He is adorable! I just love choco labs.....I pretty much like anything chocolate! Glad to hear your process was so smooth. I hate to hear the Bariatrics is still not covered by so many. But I am not surprised. I have been told by someone here it's like cosmetics. HA. I want to tell him to kiss it! I am nervous too about not needing the preapproval, but I have to say, I did have breast reduction in 2003 no preapproval required if medically necessary. I can honestly say I was sweating bullets, but I didn't pay a dime. So I have a some faith that it will go smoothly this time as well.
  15. Me either Susan; however, that would insight a riot on the boards and you would then have to intervene and you would not be able to admit your love for an M&M Shake
  16. I can't imagine my hips and ass'ets disappearing. But I guess anything is possible....but I have hips for days...true pear!
  17. Yep, I have 90 day nutrition as well. Federal doesn't differ state to state. We all follow the regulations as stated on fepblue.org. I only differ with the preapproval. I am just wanting to know on average how long it takes for people to get approved.
  18. Thanks! I am keeping my fingers crossed. My process is moving pretty quickly.
  19. I watched that one crash and burn :-) Then everyone made up. I was cracking up actually......
  20. This is recipe sharing part of the forum. If you don't like the recipe passover it. It may not be for you and 10 others, but there may be 100 others that really like it. If I see a post that a) I can not relate to because it is dealing with something post op or b)something I just can not answer I pass over. This is the second controversal post I have seen in the last few days. It's not like she recommended a M&M shake recipe. I think people need to keep each forum in prespective and respect it for what it is.
  21. I went to a lapband seminar about 2 years ago that Dr. Halmi gave. They all seemed very nice. He did a bypass for someone I know, over 10 years ago. Good luck to you all.
  22. That so sucks Aaron! I know that BCBS differs from state to state, but I had no idea that they didn't cover it in some states. I am interested to see the responses. I have Federal, but no preapproval needed since we live abroad. Interesting I know.....
  23. Congratulations!! I hope to be an August sleever. Good luck on your surgery and wishing you a speedy recovery!!!
