I'm due to be sleeved October 30th and I see the headline that a new perfect storm is going to hit the East Coast at the same time. I beat the doctors and their tests, I beat the insurance company and now I have to beat Mother Nature herself to get this done.
No problem, just another obstacle to climb right over

I got my tentative surgery date of november 19th! It looks pretty solid the surgeon said becuz horizon bcbs is fast to pre certify.
New chapter in my life! 6 years ago i was a naive and geting married, to a nightmare that i could not imagine. Now im finishing college and taking control of my health. Just thought id share

Horizon covers wls surgeries as long as u meet the recquirments (bmi, co morbities, 6 mo weightloss pro) good luck in mexico :-) thats plan C if i get denied.

I call that the FUPA..fatty upper ***** area...and I have already lost some weight in that area so I think u will prolly too.

Um, the outside has shrunk, but the inside seems the same at 9 months out and 100 pounds lighter. As a matter of fact, things seem to fit better/deeper these days. TMI?

Almost through my last hoop. I see my family doc this Thursday for my last medically supervised diet visit. I so want to move forward with the surgery and get started on my journey to better health.

Congrats! You'll be jumping through all of those "hoops" in no time! There are lots of supportive people on here, I think you'll enjoy it. I've become addicted to this site!
