Tell Me Your Favorite Pureed Meals
I started pureed food today, and I thought I was having a banquet! For breakfast I had one egg scrambled in a little margarine with about 1/2 slice 2% sharp cheese. For lunch I had two tablespoons of tuna salad and felt very full afterwards. I think I ate too quickly. For dinner, I had some chicken from my wife's tortilla soup, maybe a bit of carrot or two. I call it a successful day!

This sounds good, but you may want to ask the nutritionist about the corn and any seeds with the tomato.

Bmi 50+
I have a large BMI (take a look at my ticker below) and my doctor would not even consider the lap band because he said it wouldn't do what I needed it to do. He said the sleeve will work, but will take a little longer. No problem there!

For Those Post Opers( 2 Days & More) That Can Drink.. What Are You Eating?
I am four days out and sipping 4+ ounces of protein shakes a couple times a day, half cup of Greek yogurt flavored with sugar-free syrups once or twice, and bogs of water. I have found that water with Crsytal Light or decaf iced tea goes down smoother.

How's This For 'fried' Food?
Does this make the chicken at all greasy? My only concern is that the food would "slip through" more yout stomach more easily.

Watching Obese People, Wanting To Help, Knowing I Can't
I don't think I would never have the nerve to approach a stranger, but would readily give information to anyone who asked! I am at the very beginning of my weight loss journey, so I hope I can inspire a few people along the way. I will point them to this forum first!

Air
Is it in your chest or your stomach? My stomach gurgles and my intestines squeal a little... but nothing bad. I can usually figure out when things are settling into my new stomach.

Five days out and looking good! Very little pain. Some gas. Some bloating from all this liquid we have to get in... No regrets and not looking back!

Omg! So Nervous
They can always give you something for the pain and the incisions are smaller than I thought. There will be some scars, though. Don't be afraid, though. Think of the gains, not the pains!

Gas Pain

Weird Changes!
For the tripping, I have two suggestions: 1) You have lost so much weight that your body has to get used to a new center of gravity, or 2) You have an inner-ear issue not related to your surgery. About the open mouth shile sleeping, I don't know.

Olympic Bodies Are Inspiring!
I was just sleeved on Monday and there has been nothing else on my TV in the hospital or at home except the Olympics! What a great distraction to have while recovering! I do see all the athletic bodies, but I have no preconceptions that I will ever look like them!
