  1. Gosh by what you listed it doesnt seem like that much. might want to try denser protein to help the fullness level.
  2. google the 5 day pouch test. I have heard alot of good things about it and it helps you get back on track. You know what you have to do... because you have had great success in the past. You got this!!!
  3. girl how many protein grams are you getting a day? What you just listed doesnt seem like enough. Protein helps you feel fuller. Baby bel lights, rotiserrie chicken, greek yogurts. All great sources of protein that should help you feel full. I eat every 3 hours. Small something that is high in protein. 14 months out and average 1000 cal a day but about 75-90 g of protein.
  4. Lemon garlic cod and Parmesan zucchini crisps. Both were delicious
  5. Just heal up from this part of it and know that it is not too long til you get to have your surgery. I for one am glad you have a surgeon who is that careful. Hugs your way!!
  6. Had crustless quiche ... Bought the family a large pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut. Was telling my mom that when I used to eat pizza with them we would order 2 larges... Lol.. What a difference!
  7. it will be here before you know it. Easier said then done but try and get a little sleep tonight!!
  8. I still experience lightheadedness when I stand up too fast but not all the time. You should be getting ready to go soon for your one month post op labs and visit so they will check all your levels then. Try drinking some more if you can... 64 oz is the magic number.
  9. Dude... most awesome pic ever!!!
  10. different for everyone... including the 3rd, 4th, 5th and ...... stalls...... there are so many stalls on this crazy journey. Measure yourself and watch the inches drop so you arent obsessing with the numbers on the scale. Something I wish I had done but sadly didnt...
  11. Soupy... you have come to the right place for a mentor. All sorts of success stories here. Ask a question and it will answered. Anything specific... besides the ugly duckling thing... its a natural progression... Our mind set is the hardest thing to change with this journey.
  12. ok Fab... when is surgery and how much longer to you have on the preop diet... what does your preop intail
  13. welcome to the group. Glad you have decided to make such a life changing decision for your family and your self. You will find that it is such a life changing event. I too was going to go for the sleeve. When I told my surgeon that I was a grazer and a carb a holic he was ademant about doing rny on my. Now 14 months later and 185 pounds lighter... I am glad I went with what he said. I have been on these boards for a long while too and you can see so many revisions from lap band and sleeve to rny. It is the industry gold standard for a reason. With that being said... only you and your surgeon can make the best decision for you. Good Luck Buddy... and welcome to the boards.
  14. Especially the smelling part. I can remember when I was first starting out... I would tell my husband... let me smell what your eating... because I couldnt have it... but the smell seemed to satisfy me.
  15. wow, well I will have to google it... new one for me. And I can imagine it being very frustrating for you.
  16. Look for anything high in protein. Buy in moderation at first because some times your new pouch cannot handle things you could before. I still have a hard time with eggs and chicken. I did alot of high protein soft kind of stuff... cheeses, greek yogurt. Let your pouch be your guide. Good luck
  17. You are young so that will be in your favor as far as excess skin. Im quite a bit older and with 185 lbs of me gone... I am wishing on a star and hopeful that I will win the lottery to have plastic surgery to take care of it. ha!! Good luck tomorrow and welcome to the boards
  18. Have not heard of that. Call your doc that does seem a bit strange. Not life threatening I would not think but still merits a phone call. Let us know.
  19. The buffalo chicken is the best!!
  20. Jenn... I am going to look for the Loreal shampoo.. had not seen or heard of it yet. Hubby is sick of the Garnier.. is the conditioner better? The garnier never feels like it washes out.. On a off note... ChefchrisP... are you sneezing in your profile pic???? lol
  21. Jenn.... love and hugs your way. I still struggle with the whole mind thing and I am in an 8. I still havent tucked in my shirts... still trying to hide fat that isnt there. This old mind is a horrible thing to overcome... but we can do it.
  22. Welcome to the boards Candi!!!
