  3. This week has been a roller coaster week for horrible emotions. Early on I want to just stay away from people for fear I was going to rip someone's head off. Now I feel as though I am annoying everyone around me to the point that they are starting to literally hate being around me. Please tell me if anyone can sympathize, or am I going crazy?
  4. Anyone else find comfort in their big baggy clothing. My surgeon encouraged me last week to go buy new scrubs for work cause my pre ops one's are getting pretty baggy. So i took the advice, but I thought maybe the new clothes were causing my bad mood maybeso cause i went back to the old baggy scrubs today and felt so comfy.
  5. Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, my pouch hates everything but liquid....or so it seems.

  9. Today, had a surgeon appointment and good news I was finally cleared to start regular foods. Thank you Jesus! he says everything is healing great and I am now -32 pounds post op
  10. So, I am anticipating that tomorrow my surgeon will give me the ok to go back on regular foods. Yeah!!!! What were some must have foods that everyone found useful for regular diet again??
  11. My Dr office surgery booklet gives many examples of thing wls patients should not eat post op. I always wonder why people still eat the junk or even start eating it again in the first place. Most people having wls have a food addiction to some extent, mostly to junk food. When drug addicts go through rehab they are not considered clean if they just do a little drugs. So how is it acceptable that we can consider ourselves healthy if we are still eating a little junk
  12. Oh and just a random thought. Does anyone find that all people want to do is hug you since surgery.i think secretly they are feeling how small i am getting. Cause they really can't tell cause my clothes are still huge. Hmmmm???
  13. I get nothing but praise from my Dr office. And right now i am not losing big number which they don't expect because I lost 40 pounds before surgery. I think everyone here is doing wonderful.
  14. I was able to shower when I got home from the hospital. I had surgery on Wednesday and was home by friday. I took 4 weeks off work only because My surgeon wouldn't let me go back sooner because I work as a phlebotomist at the hospital, and he knows how crazy my job could get. Depending on your job two weeks could be ok.
  15. I am taking a sublingual b12. It seems to give me no energy. I take it only every other day ( Dr orders) and i don't feel any difference from day i do take it to day i don't
