  5. Mines is April 18th (tomorrow)! Anyone else in the same boat? What are you guys packing with you in preparation? Also what do you have ready for your liquid diets? I have a few things but its very limited to just broth, jello, etc and of course my vitamins but any other ideas would be appreciated!
  6. Thank you ladies for your input! I was hoping certain weight training/exercises can help with this but I guess not lol. And you are right, I'll take the extra skin to the extra fat any day!
  7. Hi all, My name is Kristeeh. I just joined rny talk yesterday and wish I had discovered it sooner! I love the supportive community and learning so much from everyone! I'm 26 years old (27 next month), standing tall at 5'1 and currently at 214lb (still pre-op). I started my journey in January at 239lbs and lost the first 25 lbs through healthy eating and exercising. Well surgery for me is tomorrow! I have been preparing myself (physically and mentally) but it seems no amount of preparation can ever be enough for the change that is to come. I would love to hear from people regarding exercising after surgery and any tips/suggestions to decrease amount of excess skin with drastic weight loss. Anyways I hope for everyone else a safe and successful surgery and recovery! Good luck all!
  8. Hey Candi! I am sorta in the same boat as you! Started at 239lbs and at 5'1. My surgery is April 18 and I am so nervous about it! Good luck with yours!
