  1. thank you! i would rather the night terrors than dry heaving. ick!
  2. Well, as much as it scard me I am done and home! It hurts a lot worse than I thought it would; Maybe because of the hernia repair. My drain is annoying but will only be in for a week. I had morphine after surgery and it did nothing at all so it was 16 hours of hell before they realized to switch me to dilodid which worked like a charm. I am now on the liquid lortab. I am going to open a new thread about it I think because everyone needs to be prepared for the night terrors from this medication! I woke up in the middle of the night sweating and seeing double and halucinating for about 2 minutes! After that I realized when it was happening so it didn't freak me out. The first one I was having tunnel vision and no lie it looked like the "tunnel" because thats what I was terrified of. So now I am just concentrating on healing and sipping almost non stop.
  3. oh I bet. But my anxiety is gone now. I can deal with a sore tush LOL

  6. I took that nasty crap four hours ago and have not moved my bowels...anyone have that problem? Should I call the doc?
  7. I have seen some people have very different guidlines for the weeks prior to their op. I had to revert back to phase 1 south beach diet and it sucks! I have colitis and this diet makes me sick and i am in a lot of pain but tomorrow morning will be the last time I eat so its almost over. What does/did all of you have to do?
  8. Thanks it helps to hear from others that went through this too. I think this forum will be good for me and I am excited to get to know all of you!
  9. I was really nervous but then I went to talk to the nurse practitionar and she told me the odds of death and I freaked. It's probubly the same for all surgeries but the number scared the crap out of me.
  10. Hey everyone, just found this forum. I am 31 years old and live in buffalo ny. Pre surgery I have lost 28lbs but have since stalled out for two weeks which does happen I know. I have my sleeve surgery on monday at 2pm. I am terrified! I am excited about having this done and to start the next chapter in my life but I cannot get over the overwhelming terror that I am not going to wake up on moday. I have had surgery before; my gallbladder, a hysterectomy and before that a tubal ligation and I was only moderatly nervous for those. Is anyone else feeling this way?
