Not What I Expected
Livinglifeout replied to NORCALRN's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
So sorry about your difficulties with the surgery. Wishing you a speedy and healthy recovery:) -
I'd say it's an allergic reaction. Start by eliminating food/vitamins/soaps/lotions one by one to find the cause. Mine was a new laundry detergent.

What a great journey you have taken, thank you so much for sharing it with us. To have lost so much in 9months without the real good support of a husband, and four boys to take care of is fantastic. Your on your way to achieving anything you want in this life:). I wish you nothing but great things!

Going On A Cruise 8 Wks Out ....
Livinglifeout replied to Karanj628's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm eight weeks out right now and I think you will be fine. You'll be able to make good food choices since there is soooo much variety on cruise ships. We're going on a ten day cruise middle of Nov and I know I'll get my exercise in and have no problems finding food that is full of protein:) -
Very interesting...

Hunger Hasn't Gone Away...why?
Livinglifeout replied to Cheryl Lawler Phillips's topic in The Guys’ Room
Is your husband eating enough protein? It is very important to give us energy keeps hunger at bay. Also is he following the no drinking rule of 30/30 minutes before and after a meal. We are all anxious about wanting the weight to come off fast..I can barely wait, and that is also why so many of us keep weighing every day. We hate the stalls but love the losses. -
Halfthewomen our stats are close. I had surgery on July 18, and I'm 5'9".

Things got a lot easier for me after the first week. I was also breaking a strong caffeine addiction to coffee and lots of soda's, so I hear ya:). Just remember "this too shall pass".

Learn From My Mistake! Lost Money (Mexico Surgery--Quinones)
Livinglifeout replied to gettingback2me's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It is a poor and unreputable surgeon and organization representing him that hurt the reputations of some very good Mexican surgeons. I had a wonderful experience with Dr Fernando Garcia, wouldn't change a thing. So glad your posting it everywhere, those people do not deserve any business! -
Where Are Your Incisions?
Livinglifeout replied to LessofKelly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have one small at my sternum, and four across my belly in an even row above my belly button. The too on each side are tiny. -

ChristyLove maybe you are still healing with the hernia surgery and that is why you feel everything going down. I did feel that but not anymore (7/18 surgery), only when I get full. Are you getting all your protein and liquids in? What does your daily meal plan look like?
-
Just had one and it was great. I did make mine a warm drink, since these go down easier for me. It was wonderful:)
